WL Room Question

Just when I thought we decided on a resort I find out we are no closer to deciding than we were before. Our last trip we stayed at FW Cabins. We loved the peace and quiet but it is so huge and so big that transportation took some time, even after we figured it out. So I am trying to find out all info for different resorts so we can decide. WL is on our list of places to stay. So here are some questions about the rooms.

I have read that most of the rooms are in the wings not in the main building. So what kinds of rooms are in the main building?

We have 5 people in our family. What is the name of the types of rooms we can stay in?

Thanks..it is getting confusing, esp when I read posts that people say they stayed in _____ level or a _____ room or in the ____wing.

Rooms in the main building are standard or woods view - many overlook service areas and can be above either the front desk or the Whispering Canyon Cafe. We stayed in a standard room above the front desk on our 1st stay there, and I hope to never stay there again. It was noisy until 10 or 10:30pm due to WCC in the lobby, and I heard service trucks all night. Our view was of green roof - couldn't see anything else.

On the 2nd stay we got a courtyard room (beautiful view!) and then a woods view on our 3rd stay (North wing - could see fireworks through the trees at night! But that was in October.).

Based on needing space for 5, I believe you'd need a Deluxe room.
1.) Standard Room (sleeps 4 adults + one infant under the age of 3)
2.) Deluxe room (Sleeps 6 adults + one infant under the age of 3)

Thanks for the reply. I just looked it up it looks like ALL rooms that can hold a family of 5 are 500.00+. Is this correct?
