We just got back from the WL. I must admit I was a little disappointed in the room but Disney did make it right and I only slept there. The problem was the we were asssigned to a first floor handicapped room. This room overlooks the pool and I had my heart set on a room with a balcony overlooking Bay Lake which I had high hopes for since I had booked a courtyard view. That wasn't the only problem, however, as we only had a shower in our room. While this wouldn't bother some people it bothered us as I have a DD who is 2 that is very afraid of showers. At WL they said she wasn't in our reservation but I had run into a lot of problems prior to our stay from having her in our reservation and over 5 CM's had told me it was because she was in it. I told this to Disney Management and they refunded me 1/2 of a 1 night stay. They wanted me to move after the first day and refused to compensate for it after that but I didn't move as we didn't want to spend our vacation which was quick (3 days in the park) taking care of moving from room to room. On a positive we did have a king size bed which was wonderful. Would I recommend this resort - yes I would but insist on getting what you paid for and ask Disney Management if they can make it up to you if your needs are not met. Transportation was a short wait and no problem ar all. One tip would be if you are closing down the MK take the bus not the boat as there is usually not a line at the buses and you will get there sooner.
