I am in the process of planning a trip for September, 2002. We (me and my partner) are going to also be taking my mother on her first trip ever to Disney. We are annual passholders and want to take advantage of the good rates before it is too late. We are considering WL...but not sure about the sleeping arrangements. What size are the bunk beds? Anyone know if the size of the room is the same as AKL? Any thoughts would be appreciated. My Mother has Parkinsons and it is hard for her to get around. Is WL really spread out? More or less than AKL or Poly?

The bunk beds are a standard 'twin' size. Might be a bit cramped if you were taller than 5' 8" or so.

The 'non-suite' rooms at the WL are the same size as the 'non-deluxe' rooms at the AKL.

WL is less spread out than AKL or the Poly, but at any of the resorts you can arrange to be in a room that is closer to the 'middle' and minimize any possible problems. At the WL you will go one direction to get to the boat to the MK and the other direction to get to the buses that go to all the other parks. At the AKL you walk to the buses for everything. The distance from the center of either to their respective bus stop is about the same.
