WL Question

Is there a boat that runs between WL and the Contemporary? I thought I read somewhere that there was, but can't seem to confirm that information. Does anyone know for sure? If there is, does the boat run all day?

There is a boat. It runs about every 15 minutes back and forth. It's smaller than the one that goes back and forth to the MK, and runs to CR and Ft. Wilderness. We took it several times both ways during our WL stay with no problems.

There are small launches that trianglulate between the WL, CR, & FW all day long. I think they start around 7 AM or so, I know they were running early enough to take it from WL to Chef Mickey's at the CR for breakfast with the gang.

The boats have a classic design and are open sided. You are out of the sun because they are covered with colorful canvas canopies.

The boats to MK are much larger and have a closed in cabin in the middle. They can also be differentiated because one flys a blue flag & the other flys a green flag - though I don't remember which is which.


An added bonus is that at busy times of day, they seem to dedicate boats to give point to point service between two of the three resorts they serve. The boats are a convienient way to get to and from the Hoop Dee Do.
