I read on someone's trip report that the WL pool and the CR pool are going to be retrofitted to zero-entry. The WL pool is the next pool to be retrofitted.

I will go back and try to find that trip report and ask the gal for more info -- she was told this by a lifeguard, I believe.

Has anyone else heard about this? Anyone know dates on when these pools will undergo these changes?

I don't know if they have enough room at WL for that to happen.

It would make the pool a whole lot bigger.

Guess the outside eating is going away.

Haven't heard that. It would be really cool if they could do this. Especially at CR as there is no kiddie pool.

There was a post a few months ago that most Disney pools were to be converted to zerpentry.

The thing is they couldn't tell if it was going to enlarge the pool areas or just fill them to make the Zero entry thus making the pools that much smaller.

I guess we will see as this is the 2nd or 3rd thread in as many months

you mean everything would be 3' or worst 2' depth.... that won't be any fun.

CR gets a new pool with the new construction - it will be zero entry and should be a fun pool - Mickey's head.

they will also get a kiddie pool again. plus a nice big hot tub (spa).

The WL pool just finished an extensive renovation a few months ago. I would have thought that if a zero entry conversion was planned, they would have done it at that time. I wouldn't expect anything there for a few years now, although with Disney you never know.

As FLAFUN notes, extensive pool & decking renovation was just completed earlier this year at WL.

I doubt they'd build new pool deck 10 months ago just to tear it up now. I suspect the WL conversion will be a ways off..
