WL or WL Villas?

We will be staying at WL next week but hubby wants the comfort of a whirlpool tub which the WL Villas have and is also available for $300 extra

Can anyone tell me how far are the villas from the main resort food court, buses and MK boat? Do they have their own restaurant, refill of drinks area?

No restaurant, no drink refill. They are just a short covered walkway from the main lodge. Maybe 30 steps away??? A bit closer to the buses, a bit further from the boat dock.

You'll need at least a one bedroom villa to get the jacuzzi tub. Studios don't have them.

And will you be giving up daily mousekeeping to stay in a villa? I thought you only got it in the villas on the 4th and 8th day or something like that.

I am not sure, but it looks like you are planning on booking a cash reservation through Disney not renting/using DVC points? If so you will have housekeeping everyday.

Personally for only an extra $300 I would pick the one bedroom in the villas. The whirlpool tub is so nice to have plus the extra space doesn't help. Also you have the quiet pool right there which we enjoyed a little more than the main pool. It was so relaxing while the main pool got pretty crowded at times.

The walk to the main lobby is pretty short and has a covered walkway. I think it took me less than 5 minutes from our room to Roaring Forks to get coffee, and WL and the grounds are so pretty that I never minded going the long way instead.
