We are booked at CR wing room for 3 nights with free dinning . Now we are second guessing ourselfs . We had Allstar booked and DH said no . So now its between these too .

Also We have 3 kids (6,2,9 monthes time of stay ) So where would you stay and why ?

thanks

Sarah

I think you are doing the right thing by staying at CR. You should definitely ask to be upgraded to one of the newly done rooms. They look absolutely gorgeous.

I think staying at a monorail resort is so much more convenient. You are so close to the MK and you can take the monrail to Epcot as well. :cool1:
Unless you are renting a car, which we always do. That saves so much time. You don't have to wait in line to ride the crowded buses. Cranky kids are much more happy that way :flower:

But you may be able to stay a little longer if you choose to go with All Stars. It all depends on your preference. Just keep in mind the CR is a deluxe resort. If you enjoy a deluxe atmosphere, go with CR.

I hope that helps you a little :earboy2:

We live two hours away so we driving there . But is it easier to drive to to get the bus there and back ? I ask cause I thought maybe the trams woulds be a pian .

Also I should mention we are doing my DS birthday at Disney .

Ohhh and we could have 6 days at disney at the all star but Dh can't get off that long so if dose not matter !

I would go with CR then, since you can't stay too long. And if $ isn't a factor.
I definitely recommend driving yourself to and from EPCOT, MGM & AK.
So much faster. Just hop on the monorail to MK or you can evern walk there.

Happy Birthday to your DS! Disney always makes things special for bdays. Just make sure to make mention of it. You can even get him a birthday button for him to wear.

You are very lucky to live so close! I am so jealous :earboy2: I would be there every couple of weeks if I lived that close.

I have just had a similar debate and have just booked WL. Although I think the monorail transport would be excellent, I have decided that the facilities for our young children will be better at WL. In particular CR doesn't have a kiddie pool and as neither of my children (5 and 2) would be able to touch the bottom they will soon get bored and I really don't want to be carrying them around. I'm hoping to just spend mornings in MK and then go back to WL to spend afternoons by pool and taking part in some of children's activity programmes. Hope I made the right decision for us and good luck in choosing

Hi Helen,

WL is an excellent choice. I have stayed there 2 times and I loved it. You still have access to the MK by boat. You will love the WL. ;)

I stayed at the CR many times when I was young. I thought for sure they had a kiddie pool. Maybe they have taken it out. :confused3

Don't worry :sunny: Your kids will have a great time at WL.

We just got back from the CR on Sunday and loved it. The rooms are a lot roomier than the WL. The convertable couch came in handy since we had our niece with us, and DS didn't want to share a bed with her. The pools were nice too. Our recently 2 year old loved playing in the kiddie areas where the water shoots up out of the padded ground. He also spent a lot of time hanging out on one of the many wide steps into the main pool. Our newly 7 year old loved the slide. The CM/Lifeguard at the top looked like she really enjoyed interacting with the kids while she kept them evenly spaced going down.
We now have a new favorite resort. We'll have to try a tower room next time. pirate:

No need to drive to any of the parks. Just walk to MK in about 10 minutes from the CR. You can monorail it to Epcot and take the bus to MGM and AK. You might want to drive to the last two parks if you don't like busses.

We love the CR for its location and the huge rooms! It's great with little kids when you want to go back to the rooms. You can also easily get to MK for opening or EMH without having to wake up as early. Our kids loved the kiddie area by the pool, and they also have a playground.

Chef Mickey's would be fun for a kid's birthday, but call now for reservations. All the restaurants are booking up early with the free dining.
