WL or AKL for President's Week?

Boring mom (me) wants to stay at WL, where my girls and I had a great time the same week in 2003. But the DDs are now pushing for "something different," meaning AKL or even CBR. We are staying 7 nights and although we visited AKL our last trip (Boma's!), my gut says I will be happier in a standard room at WL than a standard room at AKL. As for CBR, I really do prefer the enclosed corridors of a deluxe, and plus I have read so very many iffy things about CBR on these boards. My girls say I should be willing to try something new, but I am afraid I won't like AKL or CBR. As for switching resorts mid-stay, I did that once and found it killed the "on-vacation" feel for me since I become the Packing Princess. Can somebody please help me decide what to do? I have booked a standard room at WL but now feel guilty, and, yes, really, really boring! Thanks for any comments!

The AKL rooms are really quite nice and it's a very nice resort.
I've stayed at both AKL and WL, and as much as I like the lobby area of WL, I prefer the AKL rooms to WL.

I say take a chance and do AKL. Either that, or do a split stay ending at WL since you prefer that one.

I guess I should be a little more open minded about a split stay. The only time I did that was when we split between ASMo and CR, and it was a pain because it turned out that I didn't like the packing and unpacking. It was just a little too much reality in the middle of my magic!
