General Question: Do you need to be a resort guest to take the ferry between the Wilderness Lodge and MK?

Specific Question: We are staying at the WLV in November. My parents are staying at an off-resort time share. They plan to meet us one night at the WL for dinner at Wispering Canyon. After dinner we plan to take the ferry to MK for an evening at the park. From a practical standpoint is anyone going to stop my parents from coming with us on the ferry?

Thanks,
E

The answer to both questions is no. No one checks your credentials when you get on either the larger boat to MK or the smaller one to CR or FW. The boats are considered to be part of the overall transportation system like the busses and the monorail.

When we stayed there, no one ever checked ids. People go for dinner there who aren't guests, so its not necessary to check room keys or anything. So I would say that no, you don't have to be a guest to use the ferry.

The ferry ride is quite nice. You'll enjoy it. :)
