I'm Darren, long time reader/first time poster. I'm also a big fan of Disney parks. I've been to Disneyland more times than I can remember, but my wife and I will be heading to the World in August for my 30th birthday, she wanted my 30th to be special and let me be a big kid
Dates are Aug 9-16, on the FT package, staying at the WL. Last time we went was in 2000 for our honeymoon, we stayed at Dixie Landings. I prefer that name, it has sentimental value
That was my 4th trip to WDW, but my first time staying on property. It's the best way to experience WDW!
Anyhoo, my birthday is on Monday, the 11th. Any suggestions on what to do? When we made our reservations, they noted the trip was for my 30th b-day, but I'm stumped on what to do and where to go, so I want to read some suggestions on what to do. I'm reading some books right now as well, but I like to hear from more than once source, hence buying more than one WDW guide
We've been to California Grill, and we will be going back, hopefully not running up another $200 bill in the process
So, fire up those keyboards and let the suggestions flow!
Oh yeah, I know historically it's supposed to be crowded, but given the economy and stuff, what kinds of crowds can we expect?
