Howdy all,

I need to know exactly how to get from the MK to the Chip & Dale campfire program at the Wilderness Lodge.

Thanks!!! :grouphug:

I believe you mean the Chip and Dale Campfire at Ft. Wilderness ( the campground) not Wilderness Lodge ....you can take a boat from MK to Ft. Wilderness...nice ride and the quickest of all transportation to and from MK and FW....I'm not sure exactly where in the Campgrounds the campfire is, but call CR and ask, or arrive at the time the Campfire is being lit and follow the flames and smoke!

The campfire is not at the Wilderness Lodge - it is at Fort Wilderness Campground.

I would take the bus from MK to Fort Wilderness.

Hi K!

Just take the boat - more fun than a bus - lol!! :thumbsup2

The boat drops you off over by Pioneer Hall, where the Hoop De Doo is, so you still have some work to do to get to the campfire, which is in the middle of the campground. You'll need to take a bus or walk -- a fairly substantial walk.

The boat is the most direct route from MK to Fort Wilderness. Drops you off at the marina at the north end of the campground. The campfire/movie program w/Chip & Dale is in the center of the campground (more or less) near the Meadows Trading post. You can either hop a bus or take about a 15 min. walk.

Take the boat from the MK to Fort Wilderness. It will stop at the Wilderness Lodge first, just stay on. When you get off the boat you'll walk with the crowd off the marina. Walk straight ahead with the larger buildings on your right side. Those are the famous Trail's End restaurant and Pioneer Hall which houses the long-running HoopDeDoo dinner show. Continue on past those buildings to the bus stop. At the bus stop you will want to watch for an internal bus--orange Outpost or yellow Outpost. Ask each bus driver if he is going to the Campfire program. When one says yes, get on. The driver will announce the stops. Before you get off at the right stop, ask to be sure if it the correct one and ask which way to walk (you can be coming from two different sides of the campfire area). The bus drivers are very helpful and the 'purple pants' will steer you right!

Allow enough time to get there in case you have to wait for a boat, bus, or have to stop at the really cool new playground right by the marina!

Have fun!
