and I'm already thinking about our next trip! Do I have it bad or what? We stayed 3 nights at WL, then moved to Poly for two nights. I like the monorail convenience of the Poly but I love the serenity of the Lodge. We had room 6039, courtyard view, overlooking the pool, geyser and Bay Lake. The first morning I was awakened by the geyser at 7AM. I managed to awaken one DD to watch it with me, DH and other DD slept in. It was really neat to watch it erupt as the sun rose. The boats to MK and the CR were not bad, I think the longest wait we had was from CR back to WL, exacerbated by the fact that DH was afraid we'd miss the PS at WCC. The pool is great for kids, the slide lands them in the shallow end as opposed to the deep part. This allows little ones to enjoy it along with their older siblings. Frankly, with what you get, ambience wise, it's a steal. You get the feel that you are actually staying in an old park service lodge out west. It was funny how whenever we walked around the looby courtyard we heard the Magnificent Seven theme. I had to grin, felt like we were in a commercial.
