Do you have to be a family to do this? What I mean is, can you ask to do this if you are staying there solo or is this reserved just for families? I've read alot about this and would love to do it.

Thanks for your help!

I know when our family requested flag family, they did ask how many were in our party...

the four of us had a great time doing it on the 30th...

I guess, you could always request it and see what happens. Stan was a true sweetheart..

Not sure if they need a certain number to do it, but though I'd mention that when we checked in on a Sunday morning, they were already booked for the week and had a waiting list.

Do you have to wait until you arrive to make this request or can you make it ahead of time?

Will ask at check-in and keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again everyone for your input!! I can't believe how excited I am getting for this trip!!! :jester: :smooth:

Lets put it this way, we checked in on 8/23 early (like 8 am), and asked then about flag family.. we got the last available spot on the 30th (our last day!)

The check in person quickly wrote our name on the flag family list even before we finished everything else so it wasn't taken!

It was a wonderful experience, and the view was fantastic.

We have been the flag family twice and as others have said, it is a very nice experience. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
