WL Feb 2007/ Standard Room Rates

So far wherever I have checked I am not able to find a standard room rate for Feb 2007. I don't know if they are sold out, or if there is a chance that AAA may have a block of standard rooms? I have to wait until tomorrow to call my AAA office for the package with dining rates. Has anyone heard anything regarding the standard rooms, and if it is totally hopeless at this point in getting one?

I got one this morning for early Feb. The total was $204 night with tax included. They did not have any for Sat 10th so I went with AKL.

I made a reservation for a couple of nights in Jan in a standard room a while back. Called twice today to try to get AAA rate applied and was told it was not available for standard room. Sounds like Beachwarmer was able to get AAA rate for Feb? Hmmm. Guess I'll keep trying.

Keep trying! I called the other day and was told that the only category available for the first couple weeks of Feb was courtyard view but the system updates every morning and obviously Beachwarmer was able to get a standard.

It will be our first trip in February (4-10) and everyone keeps telling us how slow it is but there seem to be an awful lot of rooms booked. They also told me that water view at POFQ was all booked up. If I have time, I'm going to call again tomorrow to see if there are any competitions, etc. while we're there.
