We're staying at WL Concierge. Anyone that has experienced this, please tell me about it.

TIA

Linda

We stayed at WL concierge and LOVED it. The concierge floor is the 7th (if memory serves) and you have to use your key card in the elevator to get it to stop on that floor (I thought that was cool!). The rooms are the same as other rooms in the hotel. When you step off the elevator, the concierge desk is set up right there. They have a few tables and chairs and some toys for kids there too. The food is set up in a middle hall area (not a hall to rooms) and there are tables and chairs all around. Some DISers don't like the fact that there is no actual lounge, but I thought it was great to be able to look down at the whole beautiful WL lobby. In the morning there are cereals, various sweet rolls and donuts and a toaster for bagels. There is juice, milk, tea and coffee. There are snacks during the day, pretzels, gummy worms, lemonade, iced tea, pop, PBJ sandwiches for the kids. In the dinner hour, there were 2 entrees from Artist Point and I think a soup too, along with cheese and crackers, veggies and dip. In the evening there were desserts and wine and cordials. Hope that helps, you'll really love this beautiful resort, and the concierge amenities too!

I agree with GlennandAnn, it really is nice and to be honest I like the way it is set up better then having a longe, I was there last June and got the royal treatmant
:D :D

Thank you both for replying. I am getting so excited. I know we will enjoy. We will be celebrating our 8th anniversary.

GlennandAnn, & GailT the balconies on concierge level have a solid bottom wall at the rail, my question is while sitting on the balcony how high does the top of the wall extend? Is it above eye level?

I'm staying there in August and am interested in this.

Thanks in advance!

You are correct the 7th floor balconies are dormer style. You cannot get a view when sitting in a chair. That is one complaint, I heard from people while I was there.

There was a family who moved to a lower floor and they gave them concierge key access.

That's what I unfortunately thought.

BTW, I noticed you're from New Hampshire, and just wanted to say we visit the White Mountains quite often, from here in Rhode Island. Just a great relaxing vacation.

And you're right, NH is beautiful.

Lwestwise, did you mention to the concierge staff that you will be celebrating your anniversary? I heard that they go out of their way to make special events really special.

I did mention it to the CM when I made my reservation. I haven't spoken to anyone at concierge. I guess, I will. Thanks. I am really getting excited.

The fall is absolutely beautiful. We usually stay in North Conway and do some biking while there.

We also make a run up there in the summer and might come up for a long weekend in June. It's only a 3 hour ride from my home in RI.

I just am very relaxed up in that mountain air.
