Hi--We love the WL and are thinking of staying there this Jan. for another trip with our 2 girls (3+6) but I am wondering if it is worth the extra $$? Any input would be great!
Also, are there bunkbed rooms on concierge level?
We stayed last year at that time at WL on an annual pass rate...do those apply to concierge rooms too?
Lastly, when we were there last year the main pool and pool bar were closed for refurbishment..does the pool bar normally stay open that time of year (if not being refurbished?)

THANKS!

They aren't calling it "concierge" any longer. They now call it "club level" which is more accurate. I don't think it is worth it.

I'll be really interested in some replies on this too!

This is our first time and were already booked for it.. any info or link's would be great!

(I know, its terrible to not know what's already booked but were traveling with family and its what they wanted...)

Thank's in adavance!
Athena~

I'll try to answer some of your questions.

AP rates are available at times for concierge rooms. We have gotten several discounts in the past, but none in the past two years. We usually go in June. As a matter of fact we will be there in 11 days.

They do have some bunkbed rooms on the 7th floor. I am not sure exactly where they are though.

As far as it being worth the extra money, that's hard to put a yes or no answer to. What's worth it to one person may be totally different to another person. I will tell you this. We have stayed at Wilderness Lodge on the concierge level the past 4 years. We are headed back there next week. Our stays have always been wonderful and magical. They only seem to get better and better with each trip. We always get wonderful service from the staff. They are very attentive. So for us, our experiences have been very well worth it.:)

Club Level---we were upgraded (complimentary) to Club Level at the Yacht Club last year. It was very nice. All kinds of drinks, food and concierge staff to help you when you need it. We loved it but only because it was a free upgrade. We would never pay for it. Too much extra money for what you get.

Funny side note--- They had Uncrustable PBJ sandwiches for the kids that were cut in half and placed on a tray. One lady came in, obviously wealthy, and said, "You have got to see this. They have the cutest little sandwiches in there." She has obviously never been to Walmart or the grocery store.

We've stayed WL conceirge but we had great CM discount. We have stayed more standard rooms, CM discount gone, and have not missed it at all. turn down service is offered at all levels if thats what you're interested in. food offerings are nice but we just do the groceries stop and have all the goodies in our room and don't have to make the times they offer the conceirge service, usually picked over any way. the evening drink cordials were nice but like I said above, we hit the store and have our own libations in room, put the saving toward that and a longer stay by opting out of conceirge and just staying standard.

Others have stated, to each rheir own but we're past conceirge stayers and feel its not worth the extra money.

I don't think there's any wrong or right answer to your question...I've just stayed concierge/club at the WL this year (my first experience with club level at any resort) and for me, I'll do it again. Especially since I can split the cost with my sis! One thing I will note...if you spend more time at the resort, and if you use the IPO to do your ADRs for you, it becomes more valuable as a time and money saver. We're staying at the AKL in Dec. and staying club level, because we got a AAA discount. I wanted to book the WL club again, but it was not available from AAA. As you can imagine, any discount is better than rack rates!
BTW, as for staff, there are some great ones on the 7th floor at WL!! (Hi, Lisa!!)
