DH and I love WL and would really like to splurge on concierge sometime. I understand what's involved and what you get from Disney concierge, but never see much posted about the Wilderness Lodge Concierge rooms, lounge, food, etc.

Anybody want to share information or pictures?

Thanks.

Anybody? This unanswered post dropped to page 3 in one afternoon.

We did WL concierge October 2005. Here are some pics!
It was great... Our view was castle side. Saw fireworks nightly from the balcony. The staff is super nice. The food offerings are really good during the day, especially the cheese and crackers platter. It was worth it IMO.

There are some great photos at allears.net

ANother Dis'er ..may see this and post....recently returned and wasnt too thrilled with the Cm's in the CL....another Diser loved it.....and I think is going back!

I had WL Cl booked for next trip...wasnt pleased with the communications, or lack thereof with their IPO..and changed resorts!
Could be hit or miss.....who knows, but there are concierge reviews also at that website I mentioned.
Have a great trip whatever you decide!

We stayed WL Concierge last October and had a very nice time. The WL IPO contacted us way before our ADR opening dates and fulfilled every request. Once we arrived they also helped us change some ADRs at the last minute. We found the Old Faithful Club offerings very satisfactory for several of our breakfasts and the balcony with its eating and resting nooks just right for us to relax and read the paper in the morning. We also enjoyed their soups, appetizers and adult beverages in the late afternoon. And maybe best of all, I loved looking down into the beautiful lobby at any time of day and night! If only the rooms were larger :(

Have a wonderful trip and take some pictures to share here!

I stayed on the CL for a week with my DM back in Feb. Loved it so much I'm staying here again with DD and DH in Oct for another week. The food is delicious! The CMs were professional and courteous but not personable. They were there for us when we needed their assistance with dining cancellations though (which we did a few times as the food offerings were just so good!) and they gave us our P&PP tickets so we didn't have to go to Will Call to pick them up. Have you checked out the WL Thread? Read the 1st page of the thread for everything there is to know about the WL, including info on OFC hours and a 'sample' of food offerings available...

Editing to add.....the rooms are identical to the rest of the lodge rooms. No larger. Same furnishings.

We are making our first visit to WL Club Level in Oct/Nov and I appreciate reading and seeing the pictures of the club and the responses.
Although I was not happy with the lack of responses at first from the IPO (I emailed them first and needed 2 other emails before a response) since receiving contact from them, I have had nothing but a pleasant experience so far.

From what I have read, any IPO is hit or miss as far as the level of contact and help they provide. I think the trick is to give as much detail as you can when requesting something and to keep trying if you don't hear what you want.

My DBF and I stayed at the WL Concierge last year and we loved it! I guess it all depends on what you consider "worth it" in the end. If you are commando park goers- there from sun up to sun down- then it probably isn't worth it for you. We are more laid back in taking afternoon breaks, and to us, the hotel is almost half of the vacation! I do wish the rooms were larger like other deluxe hotels, but they aren't too bad. I have to honestly say, the WL is not my fav resort (just not my cup of tea, absolutely nothign WRONG with it), but staying concierge really "saved" the resort for me. We found the staff upstairs more than helpful and friendly both before we arrived, and also once we were there. Have a wonderful time!!! :woohoo:

we had a chocolate canoe to. I loved it there. we had a bunk room with a MK view and the staff was great. Lisa was wonderful. As for pics I have a few of the room and the view.
