WL bunkbeds??

Are the bunkbeds in the WL rooms the same size as any other bunk beds? My sons have bunkbeds and my 14yr old and his friend actually share the top bunk when he stays over.

I was reading that the bunk beds are smaller than regular sized ones but I'd like to know how long and how wide? Anyone ever measure them?

We stayed at WL a few years ago, they seemed like normal size to me; at least there was plenty of room for the kids. Certainly not small.

We stayed at AKL 2 years ago, and the bunk beds were regular twin size. The top has a railing all the way around, and my then-6-year-old DS was thrilled to sleep on top. It was very sturdy, so I felt he was very safe. Fun tip: We got extra sheets from Mousekeeping, draped them over the bunk bed, and made a tent for DD - the kids would go in there and watch movies on the portable DVD player we brought. It was like they were in their own room - very fun for them. We'd leave the sheets up at night so DD could sleep better. It was a highlight of the trip.
