Hi Everyone,

Got my magical express tags in the mail yesterday! can't wait!

princess:

This is a celebration trip with me and my sister. She lives in MA and I live in NYC and we are looking forward to going just the 2 of us. We are celebrating me beating cancer and losing 85 pounds (that was something I was trying to do before I had cancer, it's not a loss from being sick). With a lovely twist to all of this I had a blood clot in my leg in March caused by a hereditary blood clotting disorder. Then after I was finally getting better and declared cancer free, I landed back in the hospital with an inflamed and infected gallbladder. I was there for 6 days in July and it was too infected to take my gallbladder out. So they did an emergency procedure to insert a drainage tube and bag so that it can safely get ride of the crap that's in my gallbladder and then I can have surgery. So, I have to go to Disney with this tube and surgery to remove the gallbladder is when I get back from the trip. But I'm not going to let that bother me! Doctor told me I had to go on this trip to relieve stress and forget about all of the medical stuff and just enjoy myself. And I will!!
:cheer2:

I haven't made a ton of restaurant reservations as we like to see how we are feeling that day and then do that. But we have been trying for Ohana with no luck. But I'll keep trying.

Any suggestions for things?

Let me know and woo hoo!!

Wow! Congrats on beating cancer and the weight loss! :goodvibes

Sounds like you have been through a lot and are in need of a fantastic vacation! The WL is the perfect place for some good R & R, so enjoy!! :cloud9:

Thanks! yes, I'm very excited.

The last time I was at Disney was for a 3 day weekend in early February. I didn't have a good time though as I was waiting to hear about my biopsy. When I got back was when I was diagnosed. no fun.

My sister and I are like little kids right now! We have been constantly texting and emailing each other with ideas of what we want to do. Places we want to eat, etc. We are trying to do things we haven't done before on this trip, so we are excited!

Any restaurant suggestions? I think Teppon Edo looks good for one of the days we are at Epcot.

We are also looking forward to just taking is slow. I'm excited to just be in a different location than my apartment or hospital! this is my first trip since the first weekend of March. After that I haven't been able to travel due to the blood clot.

So we are counting down!!

I've never actually eaten at Teppan Edo, but it looks great! My favorites at Epcot are Via Napoli, Biergarten and Le Cellier. :goodvibes
