WL--Bar area??

Dh and I will be going on an "anniversary trip" this January w/o kiddos. Hope to stay at WL...does it have a bar? Tell me about it.

has a very nice pool bar outside and a lounge inside. the lounge is in between Whispering canyon and Artist pointe.

If it's a cool night, get a glass of wine from the lounge and grab a couple rocking chairs in front of the fire in the lobby fireplace

The indoor bar is called the Territory Lounge. My wife and I love it. It's dimly lit and feels a touch romantic.

As a previous poster said have a few cocktails in the lounge then bring one to the lobby and people watch while enjoying the fire.

Speaking of WL bars... does anyone know the hours of the pool bar in August?

I'm not sure about Aug....

But in May they closed at 8...

and Nov at 6 i think

According to DH - the bar at the WL is the best on property - he absolutely loves it. And I have to admit - I tend to agree with him...just very comfortable.

We like this one so much my wife named our home pool bar after it. She even had a sign made. One problem though, it closes VERY early! Usually before dusk, and it the hours are seasonal.

Well, maybe if the weather is pleasant on our arrival day we can take advantage of the Trout Pass. We do not plan on going to parks that day.

And you got to be the flag family!!!!! Congrats!

The pool bar at WL closes based on weather and patrons. If it's a slow day they close up early. We always get a margarita from the bar each day and my husband finally just asked them this past visit. Great thing though, the territory lounge is close enough you can just run in and get one there. Make sure you let them know your taking it outdoors and they'll make sure to put it in a plastic cup! ENJOY!
