How is the arcade at the WL? It will be just my DH and I but we like the arcades. Do they have the tickets to trade in for prizes? What kind of games do they have? How big is it? If it is not so good is it worth going over to the CR for their arcade?

I haven't been in a few years, but I thought that this arcade was kind of small. Anyone else know more? It was perfect for my little guys, but didn't excite my teenage nephews at the time.

The arcade at CR has been greatly reduced in size, so the two are probably about the same size now (the CR one moved to the 4th floor as well). I couldn't tell you whether the games are similar or not, but from passing through the CR arcade I didn't see the big prize setup they used to have on the first floor.

I was at WL a year ago and CR six months ago. WL's is small in area, but seems to have a similar amount of machines to everywhere else. There are not games you can play that reward tickets which can be traded. I haven't seen an arcade like that at any resort there, but I've only been to 4 or 5. Their arcades are all rather cookie cutter and dated, and not in a nostalgic way. I think they're kind of an afterthought for Disney.

Disney Quest has a TON of arcade games, new and old (so many of the classics, which I surprised to see). If they really enjoy games I'd suggest going there four 2-4 hours one evening. There's a few big ticket type rides too that everyone will like. The pirates one is awesome, but my favorite is the buzz lightyear bumpercar style ride. 2 people sit in an enclosed bumper car, one drives over these balls and the car sucks them up, the other shoots said balls at other cars. If you get a hit the other car spins around in a circle. Great fun. I probably wouldn't specifically pay to go to DisneyQuest but I do enjoy the water parks so last time I got a water and more ticket and did both.

The arcade at ASMO does the ticket reward thing. I was just wondering if the WL did to. We have been to the WC to eat but that is about all there. Thanks for the information.

Your interest in arcades appears more than just wanting to play a few games. That being the case I truly feel that the one at WL would most likely be a dissapointment.
