WL AP rate, what do you think?

I was just quoted an AP rate of $192 for a courtyard view 4/13-4/23. She did say that the rate should go down after 4/16 but they don't have those rates yet. Considering it is spring break, and the rack standard room rate she quoted was $289, I thought that $192 seemed not so bad. But then I keep reading about people booking WL for $114 and $149,etc so I begin to worry that $192 is too much. What do you think? SHe also quoted a AAA rate for $260.

Funny she said they were getting "slammed" with people calling asking about the AP rate for after 4/16! She urged me to call every day to check though as they will go fast when they come out. She also said she had no idea when, but she was surprised that they were not out by now. She also checked for me about whether I had any codes or pins. She really was so nice, I have to say! I liked that she actively was suggesting discounts to me, asking if I had AAA or any other discount program.

SHe also said they are booking "like crazy" so she was skeptical of any new postcard discounts being mailed.

So what do you guys think?

Well after looking at mousesavers I see that the AP for a standard room during that time is 155 with the woods view at $170. I have to assume that she did not have the standard room at the AP rate available. I have to say the courtyard room sounds so nice, but is it $40 nicer? Maybe I should call back to see about the standard room availibility. It seems that so many people are upgraded from their standard rooms.

Another thing to consider is that we may be checking in late (~9:00pm) so I'm thinking that would greatly decrease my chance of an upgrade. So maybe the courtyard room would be the best choice.

Oh boy, decisions!
