Sunny Glad you had an awesome time on the camping trip with DS. The pics were great! Congrats on the wonderful finish time in the Mother/Daughter 5k.
Dana Its great that youre feeling much better. The pics of the boys are too sweet.
Jen Congrats on the 4 miles!!
Christa Gorgeous pics from the show. It looks like you guys had a great time.
Anne WTG on the 5 mile pace. It is amazing how far youve come in such a short period of time.
Tiff Sorry to hear your energys been lagging as of late. I hope your doctor can offer some insight as to what may be causing the problem. Do you have a history of anemia? That can definitely plummet your energy level. Congrats for signing up for the 1/2.
Kristi Too scary about the coyote sighting. Better safe than sorry. Glad to hear youre picking up some speed in your legs. My DH is also running the 1/2 while the two DDs and I act as the scream team.
I did a 15-miler yesterday so Im cross-training today. Living in the Adirondack Mountains is definitely prohibitive for picking up GPS signals on ones Garmin. I curse at the little contraption frequently since it is basically useless on the majority of my long runs. I started an advanced pilates class last week and it really kicked my butt. Luckily I enjoy pain so I am looking forward for some more punishment before work tomorrow. I cant wait to make my January ADRs. I voted on the WISH meet polls.
Best of luck to all with training this week!!

I needed the extra workout, though, adn he is pretty cute.
Ladies, you know what I mean.
Geez, if Melissa and all the others who do trail runs were not my heroes before, they certainly are now.
That was soo tough! Those first 3.5 miles (before we got back to the track) were among the hardest I have ever done. I gave Howard so much grief for not warning me what the trail was like. I had no idea there were at least 6 BFHs! The first mile was about 15:12, I think, but then I stopped paying attention to pace and worked on breathing and form. We stopped several times to cross roads and to look at historic markers. All very interesting and certainly a challenging workout, but I still feel like I need to fit in 5 fast-paced miles.
Plus I discovered I could run in them (their long enough to not bunch up), and they have a little key pocket. I wore them to the 5K and tucked my single car key away and had nothing to carry.
for a speedy recovery.

at the squirrel story but Id have been awestruck about the deer and fawns.
I don't recommend it, but it does prove anything will do.
So very sorry, kiddo. Maybe MIL will be occupied with the grandchildren!! Don't hurt yourself trying to get everything ready to be left, please. I couldn't get the link to work, though.
