WJ announces direct flights to SNA (Calgary & Vancouver)

WJ has announced their direct flights to SNA

New destination: Orange County - Anaheim, California

WestJet is the only Canadian airline that offers non-stop daily service from Vancouver and Calgary, with great connections from other cities.

Was hoping for an Edmonton flight. Fares from Edmonton were $149 so over $100 more per person return.

Wow. This is great news. I hate having to fly into LAX for a non-stop. I wish Alaska Airlines would do this too though. I have a lot of Alaska miles to burn.

Im about to give WJ a piece of my mind and my business elsewhere. Last week during blue tag Thursday seat sale, it had so many restrictions I would have had to fly from Calgary to Edmonton to fly to Orlando in the middle of the night to take advantage of it when WJ is based out of Calgary UUUUUGGGGH!
Then the announcement comes out about flights into SNA. Great! I check out the introductory offer. That price they give is for one specific flight on one specific day only for the entire summer season!!!
Honestly it is an insult to peoples intelligence when they pull stuff like that. I am so fed up with them. I thought it would be a cold day in you know what before I ever chose to give my business to Air Canada......well the time has come for me

That is fantastic news. I try flying into LAX simply because I dont want a stop over. I'd prefer to fly into SNA but I got really sick of having to make stop overs in Seattle or Sanfransisco. SO YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! I am very much looking into this.

Hopefully the good prices will stick around, it doesn't make much difference to me where I fly if it's going to be the same price, I'm just happy its cheap!

I was so happy to see this as well. We flew into SNA last summer, but because we're in Winnipeg we had to fly to Toronto first...this way we can fly YWG to Calgary or Vancouver and then to SNA. SUCH an easy airport to fly into!!

For us it's about $169 each way...not a bad price at all from Winnipeg!

I checked every single day from June 13 to the end of August there and back and found one flight on June 13 for that price. Oh well no biggie we booked with another airline, lots to choose from
