We'll be doing one day of early entry at US and then one day at IoA the week before Thanksgiving. Which rides/attractions in each park are priority number one to avoid longer stand by lines? It's my understanding that Gringotts and Ollivander's should be top priority in the morning. Anything else or will stand by waits be ok for the other attractions?

Leaving today, so, so excited:hyper:

We are staying on site, but don't plan at this time to do early entry. I've heard on these boards that the line at Gringotts right now can actually be longer during EE than in the afternoon!

Our top one priority will be Gringotts. I hear Ollivanders is much more manageable as they built the Diagon Alley version with greater capacity. We also can't wait to ride Hogwarts Express, but I'm also hearing this line is manageable.

However, with Gringotts shutting down so much we'll make sure to get in line as soon as we enter. Also, it will be very rainy this week, and I don't know if they shut down Hogwarts Express in the rain, so we'll make sure to ride that as soon as possible as well!

Hogwarts Express does not close in the rain, in fact, it's a good place to hide if it's raining because the stations are under a shelter.

OP I would look at the weather forecast and make sure that if any of the outdoor rides are a priority-do those first. We went over Labor Day weekend and made sure to do the outside rides first in case they closed later in the day due to weather. Also, Minions tends to be a long line. Never saw much of a wait at Ollivanders since there are two now so I would not make that a priority unless you want to carry the wands all day or go through a couple of times in order to get picked for the show. Transformers, Gringotts and Rip Ride Rocket always seemed to have some type of issue while we were there, so you may not want to leave these until the end of the day. I would wait until about 10 to go to Gringotts, the EE was a joke. Get up at the crack of dawn to wait for an hour to get into the park, then wait another 1/2 hour once they let you in the park and then wait in line at least another hour, when you can just sleep in and wait for an hour once the park opens. Sometimes we only had a 15-30 minute wait towards the end of the night.
