Yesterday I was talking to Sea and Out and they had not realized that when you are ALONE (or not alone) if you are in an instance and you DIE (ie., leave without intending to) the area STAYS AT THE SAME POINT for 30 minutes. I have been using this for a while - it is explained in the help section (your question mark button).

So, for example, I lost to Krokopatra (was alone), was sent back to oasis, filled my health and mana with my bottle, ran like crazy over to the entryway, waited it to load, etc etc - you STILL have to stand on the sigils when you re enter but once you are in, you can run through all the doors you have opened.

I have also used this (prior to the wipe) in the prison on Marleybone - that is the first place I tested it after reading about it, I thought, what the heck, it's worth a try!

This makes soloing many areas MUCH easier and certainly less stressful!

I noticed that as well when I was working on a quest recently.

Hmmmmm, I guess that doesn't hold true for the Karanhan Palace (or whatever it's called). I got killed in there the other nioght, went right back, and all the doors were closed.:headache:

But, cool, if it works elsewhere!

I didn't either, this is a great tip. I solo quite a bit myself.

Be warned that the instance memory has known bugs in MB. So far I have already had to repeat a solo attempt at counterweight west and still need to repeat Big Ben because of this bug. Below is a quote from Mr Lincoln.

For me I got up to the third lever in counterweight west, died and when I returned it would not let me flip the lever. And with Big Ben, I got to the floor where the silver chests appear, but it refused to open the door to next room for me. I don't want anyone else to be bitten by this quite frustrating instance bug.

Wow, thanks for the info. I did both Counter Weights solo last night, i was lucky not to have this problem.

I will try my luck at Big Ben tonight. I hope I will be able too make it all the way.

If I understand correctly, I should always kill the boss last?
