Has anyone else been having more issues since the last big update on Aug 8? I have been in battles where all of a sudden I'm not participating anymore and I am just getting beat up. In Wizard City, there was a guy running in circles backwards. I came back later and he was still there running backwards. I sometimes look like I am holding my wand but there is nothing there. I got stuck in a black hole behind the ice school yesterday. When all of these things occur, I try to exit out and it won't work. I have to hit Alt F4 to get completely out of the game and then start again.

In Wizard City, there was a guy running in circles backwards. I came back later and he was still there running backwards. I sometimes look like I am holding my wand but there is nothing there. I got stuck in a black hole behind the ice school yesterday. When all of these things occur, I try to exit out and it won't work. I have to hit Alt F4 to get completely out of the game and then start again.

I did not notice that it became worse, i thought it stayed the same. I was caught in a black hole (or rather blue since the ground became all blue) in Crimson Field before the update. I did not go back to see if it was still there. But i did not have to leave the game, i just teleported to a friend.

Yesterday, there was a problem in the tomb of the beguiler. My friends saw me as half way buried in the ground up to my waist. And I was seeing them outside their circles during a fight.

Help Wanted - Knight's Court Clock Tower

Several of your fellow DISers need your help!

The last update wiped the Marleybone History Book Quest out of our spellbooks, including credit for all the books we had found. Although we have been given the quest to start over again from scratch (what fun!), the location of the Knight's Court book is closed to us.

It looks like we need to enter the central Clock Tower with somebody going in for the first time. If you are doing, or about to do, the Knight's Court quests, please let us know. We would greatly appreciate it!

During our grub run the other day, we lost a member of our team that could no longer participate. She teleported back to us a couple times after the battle and eventually was back with us and fortunately got to finish the quest.

Yes, I've noticed the battles are uneven now. The monsters seem to be able to shield up and hit me with traps and wham! out come the killer spells! Seems all I can do anymore is hold out for a pixie or pray a shield comes up in my deck and I spend most of my battle time either healing or waiting to be defeated, not doing much damage at all. I also noticed that my 100% accurate wand blasts are no longer 100% accurate! The fizzle rate has increased on all of my spells. This has decreased the fun I was having trying to solo through Krok immensely.
As for the disappearing wand, that has been a long standing bug in the game.

I met the director of the game last night, he seemed very nice and we talked for about 15 minutes because he had to go to work. I told him about VMK and he said that they already knew and that they are working on new content for us and he is sorry that VMK closed. I asked him if he wanted to level up with us in the crimson fields but that was before I knew he was the director LOL

It looks like the Emperor's Retreat battles (the two princes and Krokhotep) are another one of those all-in-one-session deals; is that right? Trying to figure out how much time to set aside for that.

I really wish they would let us do these in shorter chunks.

You are going to just fall over in Marleybone then...quests can be over 2 hours long with good helpers.

YES! I have bad news and good news about that! The other night, the only book I needed was Big Ben, and thanks to GIRL POWER (aka Tiggerbelle, DMamie and FlyingPegasus), I was able to finish Big Ben.

However, I noticed in the middle of Big Ben that my Marleybone book quests were GONE. I mapped out to the Palace guard, and sure enough, he had the quest to start over again. I jumped back to Big Ben and got that book, whew. But I groaned when I realized I had to get the rest.

Now for the interesting part. In the interim, I had started the Mooshu book quest. And I decided to start re-doing Marleybone. I managed to get the Hyde Park and Chelsea books, but I discovered Knight's Tower wouldn't let me in!

Check your quest! Apparently doing the other book quests gave me CREDIT for getting Knight's without actually getting it! Someone allowed me to jump to Ironworks, and I retrieved that book, too. Then I noticed that my Mooshu books were suddenly finishing on their own when I went to "read" the Marleybone books last night.

The only book I have left is Crimson Fields, and I hadn't gotten any other books except the Palace and Hametsu Village. I can't get into Crimson Fields yet, as I still have Outpost tasks, but the book bug has just saved me lots of time, go figure.

Try to get Chelsea again, read the book. Then look to see if the Knight's book is still there.

Oh, I discovered another bug after I found out my book quest disappeared. I no longer have access to Kensington at the station, so I'd have to jump to whoever is in there.

And I hadn't tried the Beguiler quest yet, either. I'd like to do that when Sea and Out try it. I've just become Level 35.

And whoever said having a Life wizard in the group helps a ton isn't kidding. I loaded my book with lots of healing spells, so during quests like Big Ben, I found that I was healing us all the time.

And my power spells rock against those Grubb death monsters.

In that case, Marleybone may be the stopping point in the game for this Storm wizard, assuming I even get that far. (I'll try to get a little Victorian clothing, do some sightseeing, take some pics, and leave! )

I'm really eying those Life spells though.....

When in the Tree of Life go toward the OakLeaf dude and fight the Level 10 Life Imp that is there and you will get the "Sword Saint" badge.
There are bosses in 3 of the Dojo's down the roads.

Had you already done Kensington? I wandered in there the other night, after having not gone back there since the initial start of quest, and found no problem getting in, just had to step on the entrance.

I think that is what we've decided on. I think before the last updates you could jump in, but now the last two times I've been there, only the people who started it could jump in and out.
Just, glad I could jump back in in Kat's lab last night after I got the old familiar disconnect again! Arg! Thanks guys for waiting on me last night too.

Oddly enough I haven't seen as much need for the life people like myself in the last few games I've played. Though it could be that we've been using four people in these instances and that most of us have some major xp and life going on too. lol
Though the first time through Big Ben and one of the counter weights I did feel like that was all I accomplished, throwing life around left and right.
I couldn't even show off my impressive spells those times. lol
