Non-Disney Online Games (Wizard 101) Quest Tips & Help Thread!

So, what's the deal with the Trophy Room in the Grand Arena? When I first went in it said it was the trophy room. I beat the bosses over and over again, but the card stays in my quests. Anyone got any hints?

The Trophy Room is just past the arena. Continue straight down the hall to the instanced room, instead of turning right into the arena.

Hint: When you go in, just stand still for awhile and observe. "Patience is a virtue."

I stood for almost 10 minutes. No box full of the family stuff showed up like before. The quest appears to be broken.

This morning i went in and played with those kiosks and finally the box appeared. lol Definitely took some patience lol.

On another note though: OMG! You guys said Kensington was a pain, and you weren't kidding. Went in to just nose around...talk about being out of your element! rofl! Will definitely take some friends in next time.

The complete solution to the kiosk puzzle that makes the chest appear is supposed to be revealed to you before you head farther into the room.

It could be that you needed to take a step or two in from the entrance, so that the room "registered" you as being in it (in the same way that Bosses won't issue a pop-up challenge until you advance a bit). The solution, however, will disappear if you take more than a handful of steps.

Oh I saw the hints before they disappeared, it's just that nothing happened until after I Supposedly followed them lol I didn't have anything happen however, until I got bored and started playing around with the kiosks, after following those instructions. lol

Just curious!! How many of you have actually taken the game to battle on your own vs. playing with a friend who has actually completed the level?

I have chosen to battle alone to try it myself and witnessed numerous bugs and had to redo steps over several times as a result. So I figured I would ask the question.

I battle on my own most of the time before the first wipe out i did almost every quest with a friend

Up to the Counterweights and Big Ben, i did almost every thing alone without much difficulty. The counterweights and Big Ben I did with wizards the same level as me. Except for the last fight.

I "flew" through MooShu with Momie (Olivia Lightsong) and help here and there from AZCat (Padric Firestalker). That went quite fast.

Most of the bugs that I encountered then were fixed. Like the first time i did the Grubb run we could not aim at the Pumkin head scarecrows. So it's hard to say for me how it is now.

I have done everything alone so far except for Grubbs, in which some random (but wonderful) person entered with me for no apparent reason other than to help some other random person. Thankfully, because, at the time, I had no idea what I was in for! And I have only tried the Beguiler once, but have realized that in order to do it alone, I will have to rethink my strategy (although I have considered begging the people going on Tuesday if I can join them...).

I have to say, though, that except for one quest that didnt work until I accepted a different one, I have not encountered any problems at all. I have seen some grammatical errors, and had a Mander talking to me that had Prospector Pete's picture, but nothing that required me to start anything over, without getting defeated, of course.
