Non-Disney Online Games (Wizard 101) Quest Tips & Help Thread!

However, I do have a dilemma. I must be missing some side quests somewherre, because there's an NPC in the Tree of Life (Oakheart) that will give you a side quest if you've finished everything else. I cannot think of anything I've missed in Mooshu, but there is a problem I know I have dating back to Wizard City.

What Kenneth and I discovered after completing Mooshu on our second set of wizards and then having to go back to track down why Oakheart didn't want to talk to our original wizards - apparently, at least in this case, the side quests actually can follow their own little storyline as well just like the main story. To get Oakheart to talk to you, you need to make sure that you take and complete the tasks for the other elemental types like Oakheart in that area - Yoshihito Temple. First you'll need to visit the water elemental guy in the burial grounds, then the rock guy in the village of sorrow and then finally Oakheart will talk to you in the tree of life. I'm hoping I have the names and which guy is where correct, but if not please forgive me... I'm just up in the middle of the night not able to sleep so my brain isn't completely functional. :lmao:

I wish I could Belle; but there are some things that I am sworn to secrecy about - and most of what you asked I really have no idea of the answers. Everything is currently in flux.

LOL! No problem. I kind of figured that might be the answer here. And, I would definitely have to agree about everything being in flux. :rotfl: What I may do is use just two of the points and that would still give me that weakness spell I would like to have but also leave a point in reserve just in case.;)

Myth Minions rock! You get Golem,Troll, Cyclops and Minotaur. I pretty much used Cyclops all the time. He heals you, give power pips and casts storm shark, and sun bird!

budcollector: At what level did you get your ice minion? I'm already at 27. I was sent on a random mission to get a spell, where I called a Wyvern on Colossus, but no minion yet.:confused3

i got the quest to get it at level 30, to get it i had to go to marlybone, see the mayor, and had to get into chelsea court, and take down nimah the wicked [2000 hp] go back to ice school, then colosses blvd, back to school ,= Ice Guardian / 400 hp. hope it helps

I am pretty sure it is 28 ;) LOL

Is anyone else having this problem. I can't log in. Sorry to double post

Yeah, make sure you do the side quests offered by Mossback (Ancient Burial Grounds) and Wave Bringer (Village of Sorrow). Each quest chain will end in having to fight a different Forest Spirit boss. Oakheart should then talk to you and give you its own set of quests.

I'm not sure if the earlier side quests from Mossback (in Kishibe Village, for example) also tie in, so it couldn't hurt to make sure you've done those, too.

I did see Mossback in the other locations, and he had nothing left for me, so I'll try to see if I'm missing the other elementals in the Yoshihito Temple areas!
Thanks to both of you. My next goals will be endless fights to get more badges. That's where helping your friends really helps. ;)

I heard that there is going to be a new school and a new world is coming...as a result all of our characters will be deleted

Well I have been unable to log in under Rowan DragonFlame. I am stuck at the loading screen that says "Entering Game".

I want to point out that I have been "Making" a lot of treasure cards using "Monstrous" and now "Tough". I also bought a lot of the other treasure cards. Well frankly there is nothing else to spend my credits on, being level 49 and done with Mooshu. So yeah, I have a lot of treasure cards.

Here is the second response I received:

"Thanks for the update. I'm not sure of the exact limit, but 110 does seem like a high number! Having a large amount of ninja pig cards has been causing issues with some characters, so I'll be passing this along to our more senior wizards to get this looked at. For now, please feel free to play your other characters and we will update this as soon as we have more information."

This was followed up with this message:

"After checking with our higher wizards, I have discovered that for now, the only fix for that data overload is to play on another character. At this point we are unable to even manually update your "stuck" character.
I apologize for any inconvenience."

sigh......the joys of being a beta tester.....

I hope this helps them to realize there might be a limit on the number of treasure cards we can have, and that they let us know what that limit is.

After all this is supposed to be like a "collectible" card game.

So my advice to any of you who took a bunch (more than 100???, I guess- no idea really) of ninja pig cards would be to right click and discard them.

Ok, so now I am off to try and get my storm wizard through the vault of ice. So if you see Rowan StormCloud out there give her some help. LOL

Fly

Before this causes a panic, where did you obtain this information? And does this rumor really make that much sense? Why would they delete about 1000 or more characters because they wanted to add a school?

Also, sorry about your situation fly, best of luck to you.

I'm trying to get to Mu Shu, but I can't figure out what quests I need to complete. Will I get to go after I finish Big Ben? Or can I finish a quest and not have to complete Big Ben?

Also, I'm having problems getting back in to do the East Side Counterweight challenge. There are blue lamps for both the West Side and Big Ben, but I can't get into anything. Does anyone know how to reset this?

Thanks!

Hmmm, I don't know why you can't get into the counterweights but, yesm you do have to finish Big Ben to get to MooShu.
