Did anybody see last night's episode. I'm upset that I missed it. Please let me know what happened. I think it was the season finale.

Thanks!

Oh, no! I missed it, too!

I taped it but I haven't watched it yet. If nobody else responds to this thread, I'll post a summary sometime this weekend.

Ok I will do my best...

I liked this show alot but the first few minutes of the story didn't grab me so I was watching here and there but I got the "big news"

A wealthy man's family disappeared while out on a yacht that "bad guys" thought had diamonds on it. The family was found safe and sound.

The side stories involved (sorry I don't know the names) the younger cute girl (Poppy Montgomery) and the guy about her age. He ended up saving her life when the "bad guy" had a gun pointed right at her toward the end of the show. They then walked out of a bar together (well all but the older main guy) were celebrating and attempted to get two cabs home. She got one and then asked him if he wanted to share and he said, "no I live uptown." and she said "I know." He then got in the cab and left with her.

The older woman (probably about my age but older than the young ones lol) was named boss in place of the guy who is leaving to go to Chicago with his wife.

That man (gosh am I terrible about names or not) came home to his wife who had been packing for their move. She was sitting on the couch crying. He asked her what was the matter and she said that she didn't expect him to say yes when she asked him to move to Chicago. He went on saying that it was the right move etc and she said "no I don't want you to move with us." That is how the show ended.

I am sooo sorry I am not better with the character's name...I promise next year I will pay attention to who is who :)

That guy

Thanks, Liz! So, the Anthony LaPaglia character (Jack, I think) is NOT leaving for Chicago? I was afraid he was leaving the show or something.

It ended with Jack's wife saying she didn't want to be married to him anymore.

You might want to put spoiler in the title just in case someone hasn't watched their tape yet (although if it was me, I would just stay away from this thread if I didn't want to know.

I fell asleep during the show but I got the highlights. I wish it wasn't on so late!

Thanks Traveliz and skuttle for the update.

mickeyboat, sorry that i didn't put "spoiler" in the title, but in all honesty, my post asked what happened in the show, it didn't give away any spoilers. If somebody opened the post and hadn't yet watched the show, they could have simply closed the thread before reading any of the responses.

When I saw Anthony LaPaglia on Ellen a while back I swear he said that this was his last season. I am hoping after seeing the finale that he changed his mind and in fact isn't leaving afterall.

Although, I am wondering if the comment from the father in the story line "let me know if you ever need anything" and his talk about "I'd love to hire you for my securty team" to Jack is a foreshadow that he will still be leaving and going to work for him.

I really like Anthony LaPaglia...I hope he stays!!

I wondered the same thing. Since he has already been replaced at the bureau (with Vivian getting his job), I can't see him going back to the team.

You think maybe their might be a spin off show? Can't imagine their being enough story lines for the security gaurd of a rich family - at least not enough to keep viewers coming back week after week.

It's not just security for the family--this millionaire owns lots of business interests, so, I guess we'd be seeing lots of different scenarios.
I'd sure miss him as Jack, tho...

Still leaves openings for "Jack" to make guest appearances.

He'll be back. He was in contract negotiations for awhile after he won the Golden Globe award but it's been settled now.

Side note the son of the millionaire was played by the same boy that played Owen on Party of Five.
