My tape ran out before the show ended, I got to where they were pulling Patrick's car out of the water, can anyone please tell me what happened after that? Thanks!!

Strange ending...

The car WAS found but his body was not. The last scene shows a discussion by two of the lead (forgot their names) saying that the locals said the "current" could have washed him away.

They seemed to think that the missing man had planned all this and the guy who claimed to run him off the road was in on it with him. They mentioned they would not be surprised if Missing Man's second wife and child are suddenly missing themselves...

Very interesting, I thought. I hope there's a continuation.

What was the deal with the second wife and child? Right after they found them is when I ell asleep.

he (patrick the husband) married the second wife 2 years ago and the child is his stepson. the wife had no idea (or so she said) that there was a first wife in NYC.

At one point in the show it flashed back to him and his 1st wife talking and she kept telling him that she couldn't believe he was doing something (can't remember what, probably turning her father in) after all he (the father) had given him and he said that after 15yrs there was one thing he could never have and that was her.
