Who still makes a binder? I LOVED making a trip binder for each trip. It's a neat "souvenir" to look back at. And how we take in account who much we spent/need for the next trip. But, with all the plans now right on the phones I am afraid that making one is a waste of time and money. I HAVE to have the 5 dollar stickers to decorate with.

I still write everything out in a notebook!! Colour coded with ADR's, the big plans of the day, "must do's", etc.

I've never done a big binder, but ALWAYS have to have a hard copy, especially in the planning stages!!

Nope I've moved on to Google Docs. I have my spreadsheets and Trip Reports saved there for the last couple trips.

I have a love-hate relationship with my phone, but nothing but love for my binder. My binder isn't going to crash, or run its battery down, or make me stop to recharge it, or have apps that don't work right, or lose a signal. I also use a small binder (4x6) so it's really not much bigger or bulkier than my phone. I will never, ever give up my binder, so help me God.

I thought about making a binder for my upcoming trip but when I thought about having to carry it around with me, I ended up putting all the info I need into a google doc that I can access from my phone.

Here's another vote for Google Docs. I like being able to type from my mac's keyboard and have everything sync and be accessible via my iPhone/iPad.

I use the Evernote app. Works great. It's available to me on any phone, PC, tablet or whatever.

I still love making a spreadsheet. It's so much easier to look at after I print it out to take with us. A binder is too bulky for us though.

Has our park schedule, ADR's, FP+ times, must do's each day, crowd level, etc...

Well, I don't have a smart phone.....and I have never made a binder.

I still plan on making a binder for this upcoming trip. I put everything in there, airline info, rental car, hotel info as well as my touring plans. I like having it at night to review my plans, make some notes, etc... I leave the binder in my room and just pull out a one page summary per day that I keep in my pocket for reference. It keeps track of my FP times, ADR info and my attraction list I'm tyring to focus on that day. I like my phone well enough, but sometimes it's just easier and faster to take a quick glance at a piece of paper. It should also help conserve battery life on my phone, which I'll reserve for FP time swapping on the fly.

I don't do a binder, but I do make notecards with important information on them. And I still do it even though I have that same information on my phone. Why? Because sometimes technology can be a big pain in the you know what.

I'm all about my day planner and my pentel pencil with a fresh eraser. It's just my Disney tradition. I just traded my dumb phone for my first smart phone. I'll get the hang of it someday.

I used to have a binder, but I didn't do it last trip. I put all the information on my phone, it is easier to carry and access. It worked perfectly.

That's exactly what I do! I've done it for years and I'll probably never change. The spreadsheet method works for us, so I'm not changing it!

I do a spreadsheet and little index cards with that days info on it. A binder would be too bulky for me to carry around. I love the App, but I'm not 100% trusting it will always be available and ready to use.

We rock. :) :thumbsup2

Dan

We certainly do!

I LOVE my phone & do pretty much everything on it, but when it comes to being in the parks, I rather have paper in hand. I'd be worried about my phone dying, having to charge it, if its raining I wouldn't want it to get wet etc .... too many scenarios where if anything went wrong with my phone and all my necessary touring info were in it (FP+ times, ADR's, park times etc) I might lose my mind!

I do, however, take a pic of my spreadsheet and keep that in my phone!

We never did the binder, but DH always wanted to print out a hard copy of our calendar to have in the room. Which I should also add I forgot to bring to work today so I could laminate it :rolleyes1. Personally I have all that stuff in my phone, so I don't fool with it for myself.
