WITH PICS: "As delectable as... UPDATED!!

... dipping my bottom over and over into a bath of the silkiest oils and creams.
Fry: Thank you, sir. That's exactly what I was going for."

(It's a futurama quote in case anyone is reading this and being weirded out ;) )

Anyway, here's my dining review for 1/7-1/15, 9 days on the basic dining plan. I've been a dis'er for a while now and basically I lurk around the dining boards, reading review and looking at pictures. The anticipation of writing this review is what led me to taking about 70 food pictures. My boyfriend made me promise that we'd at least have more pictures of us than of food...I met that goal with 13 pictures to spare! :cool1: (He also wants to ban me from the site for a while once I'm done...:surfweb: yea right  )

The cast:

Me: I'm 23, an avid foodie, and I'm not that picky. I don't really eat pork (most likely due to a jewish upbringing) or veal (due to brainwashing in college--(ugh I once made a trip to disney as a vegan---not very fun but a different story). I love carbs, fruits, and veggies and like to try new things. I'm also a nutrition major so I try to eat healthy most of the time.

My boyfriend: He too is 23 and could really care less about what he's eating. He eats quickly and can eat a lot. He loves seafood and meat. Not very picky. His only request with the ADRs was a character breakfast.

I'm going to try to complete this by tuesday.

DAY 1

Our flight arrived at MCO by 10 and we were on a bus to Pop by 10:40. We were the first stop :goodvibes, and decided after we checked in to grab resort mugs and stop by the room to empty our carry-ons. We were going to MGM--oh sorry- Disney Hollywood Studios since we had ADRs there that night. We were starving by the time we got there (Around 12:30) but hit up the Great Movie ride and then flocked to the Backlot Express. By then, we would have eaten nearly anything but I knew I wanted the grilled veggie sandwich and he wanted the chicken fingers. He ordered the cheesecake for dessert and I wanted the strawberry parfait. There was no way I'd be getting a picture of his food without lossing a hand, and I barely managed to whip out my camera, much less fool around with lighting techniques before chowing down. (Ps I did take a bite before remembering--a theme throughout this trip)

DisneyJan2008001.jpg

To be honest, I remember this being better last year. My DBF says his chicken fingers were good and the fries were hot, well seasoned, and crispy (I stole one--yes I'm that girl). My veggie sandwich was initially very good-nice crusty bread and yummy veggies. After 1/2 the sandwich I ate the accompanying black bean salad. This was good but was basically a glorified bean salsa. The second 1/2 of the sandwich was dissapointing. The inside of that crusty bread seemed to bond with the veggies creating a gummy gross paste which was a very unpleasant texture. I stopped eating it and moved onto dessert. It seemed like it had more pudding than last time and the strawberries tasted like that had been frozen and defrosted. The dried blueberries on top were chewy and seemed offputting compared to the creamy smoothness of the rest of the dessert. My boyfriend said the marble cheesecake was alright and he ate 1/2 of it.

Overall, if I'm looking of a place to eat at DHS, I might try looking at other options, or I might go back. I'd try the turkey sandwhich though.

Food: 3/5
Atmosphere: 3/5
Service: N/A

Dinner that night was at 50's Primetime Cafe. We arrived about 20 minutes before our ADRs at 6:55 and weren't seated until about 7:10 so it seemed like forever. However we did talk to some of the host staff and they were very nice (A really cute old man). We were finally seated and it took a few minutes for our waiter (Loukili sp?) to come over. We knew what we wanted (OH YEA FRIED CHICKEN) so ordered a diet cherry coke and regular cherry coke--or as he joked one leaded and unleaded. Well we were delivered our dinners before our drinks even arrived. It only took about 5 minutes to receive it and about 5 more to receive drinks. The cherry syrup they add is STRONG and I couldn't handle more than 1 sip. Our waiter yelled over to us, checking in, as he sassed the table next to us and I didn't want to be a bother so I just drank my water.

DisneyJan2008018.jpg

The chicken was delicious and I ate all 3 pieces (even though I tend not to eat dark meat). The mashed potatoes had a nice buttermilk tang and seemed homemade. The collards were unfortunately very salty (and I LOVE salt). Still nice but could had used less. Dessert was a peanutbutter and jelly milkshake for me, and s'mores for him. Sorry I didn't get a good picture of either.

DisneyJan2008019.jpg

DisneyJan2008020.jpg

What really makes this restaurant is the waiter/waitress interaction. Ours was hilarious and he hasseled another waitress and she, him. She even went ethnic on him and told him to go back and ride his camel (he was from Morocco). They were so funny and Loukili even had us interact with our neighbors, telling their kids we were teachers (which we are) and we'd give them homework. It was especially funny when he walked outside the building and stared at us through the window, knocking on it and giving us the "I'm looking at you sign." It was really funny!

DisneyJan2008023.jpg

My only negatives were the fact we got our food before drinks, not offered to change the drinks or refills, and salty collards.

Food: 4/5
Atmosphere: 5/5
Service:4.5/5

Would I return? Heck, yea!

Ummmmmm.. that chicken looks incredible.
And the server is wonderfully creepy.. I howl everytime I look at the picture:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

once again, thank you to everyone for your praise! I feel so special! :wizard:

mpm, it tasted as good as it looked!

I did love spoodles, but alas I did not LOVE kona. I'd definately try it again though. After Spoodles we wanted to go to Jellyrolls but there was a line waiting out of the door (at 9 on a wednesday) and we said screw it. We weren't going to wait to get into a smoky bar with a cover charge. We meant to go to the AC at DTD, got on the bus and only shopped for a little at the Marketplace before heading back to pop.

First off, go big blue!

Secondly, back to the food.

Day 4 we decided to spend at MK, since it had EMH. I made a late ADR for Kona. For lunch, we had such a lovely lunch at Peco's Bills last year that we really wanted to eat there again. I was trying to be healthy so I ordered a chicken salad, and my DBF ordered the turkey wrap.

DisneyJan2008091.jpg

DisneyJan2008092.jpg

As you can see, we took advantage of the toppings bar. I added the sauteed onions and mushrooms, along with some hot banana peppers. I didn't realize the "vegetables" mentioned in the description were hidden under the lettuce mix so I overcompansated with the toppings. I wish there had been a lid to mix/shake the salad or if it had been premixed. I'm not a superfan of dressing so I opted for vinegarette but didn't touch it. My boyfriend started eating his wrap and kept wondering if it came with dressing. Finally after about 2/3s of the way through, there was a glob of honey mustard. The vegetables in the salad were alright--chopped tomato, what seemed like pre-chopping canned peppers (they weren't crispy at all) and HUGE chunks of onion. Now I love onion, I love that raunchy goodness. But these burned, they were so sharp and hot that after one bite I avoided them like the plague.

Overall, I'm not rushing back there. The beloved peanutbutter brownie was MIA, so DBF ordered a carrot cake and I tried to get fruit, but could not and ordered a yogurt. (It proved well in disarming my toxic breath from the onions.)

Food:2.5/5. Toppings bar is still super awesome, and it's more of a burger and fries joint.
Service: 1/5. There was a problem in our line (which my dbf made us move into--which I of course did not rub in his nose :rolleyes1) and it took FOREVER!
Atmosphere: 2.5/5. There isn't much theming and it's very dark. Uncomfortable on those stools!

Since we had a light lunch, we were so hungry and I was totally pushing for Figaro Fries. They basically tasted like cheese fries. We got a table overlooking It's a Small World, and to be honest, it's not that cool of view. Much better looking up there from the ride them looking down into the loading area.
DisneyJan2008104.jpg

They're yummy, slightly overhyped, and messy. Fork required.

Dinner was late at Kona. We wanted to beat the Spectromagic crowd so we headed on the monorail around 7. We checked out the poly a little bit, checked in early to the Kona and headed over to the bar to get some yummy drinks. My rum-loving pirate wannabe BF ordered the Lapu lapu and I wanted something light so I ordered the raspberry mojito.
DisneyJan2008105.jpg

DisneyJan2008106.jpg

They were expensive (thanks to the Lapu) coming to $21 something. My bf left $25. By the time we headed back to Kona and our buzzer went off. We were seated on the right wall in the upper corner. The din wasn't overpowering and we soon became used to it. Our drinks were good. My bf said if you like rum, you'd like the lapulapu. It was strong and he felt like it had a good deal of alcohol. One of our neighbors even asked how it was, and he replied about the rum, and soon we saw the drink being delivered to his table. The mojita was a delight. Light, slightly sweet, fizzy, with just the right amount of alcohol. I tried ordering one from the AC, but alas, they didn't have mint. Much to our delight the macedamic nut mahimahi was back on the menu!!!!!!! My dbf knew that's what he wanted. I was a little fished out, so my choice was between the shrimp (which I heard was only ok), the tuna (which I'm particularly fond of, but was intrigued), and the chicken. I decided on the latter. Our bread was delivered, which was yummy, a little too sweet for my tase. It was soft, slightly warm, and that butter tasted like nut frosting (um...that sounded dirty  ) Our server brought us our drinks, and our table was full of water, soda, and alcohol-yum. I had heard so much hype about the sticky wings so we went ahead and ordered them.
DisneyJan2008107.jpg

Unfortunately, they looked better then they tasted. They were good, but the strong sauce was overpowering. The accompanying salad had a strong sesame oil flavor. I'm glad I tried them, but they were messy (duh sticky wings!) Wet wipes would be a nice side.

Then the entrees:

DisneyJan2008108.jpg

DisneyJan2008109.jpg

This was dbf's favorite meal of the trip. He loves both macademia nuts and mahimahi. Mine over was good but overly sweet. The sauce on the chicken was overpowering compared to the already sweet coconut crust on the chicken. The salad was wonderful though. Perfectly ripe strawberries and pineapple--yum! Sadly we were too full by the time dessert was offered. We took the chocolate macademia tart and the chocolate fondue with us (I wanted the banana creme brulee, but felt the fruit and cookies would hold up better in our room.)

DisneyJan2008110.jpg

DisneyJan2008111.jpg

I ate the fruit the next morning--it was perfectly rippened. The chocolate sauce was still good. I ate a bite of the thin cookie and the macaroon. They were ok. It was soon too humid and the thin cookie became too sticky. DBF didn't eat his until a few days later. He said it was good, and tasted like it would have been great fresh.

Overall, I'd go there again, but I might try Ohana first. It was too sweet for my taste--but that's Hawaiian food for you.

Food: 4.5/5 (Since it was dbf's fav)
Service: 4/5
Atmosphere:4/5. It's too open and I could see how it would be too loud. But I liked our corner table and there was an arm rest.

Next: Le Cellier!

We were very disappointed in KONA, but I'm so happy to hear the Mahi-Mahi is back on the menu!:goodvibes I LOVE that macadamia nut dessert!

So today we were going to the Seas Aqua tour around 12:30 so we wanted a lighter, earlier lunch. We headed to the Land around 11:10. We, being the indecisive folks we are, had a hard time choosing. We both wanted the salmon but I felt we couldn't double up so he ordered the salmon with rice and carrots, and I decided to go with the asian section--poor choice. It was a soupy, salty, soy sauce mess. I got the steamed broccoli, sauteed veggies, thai chicken and pepper beef.

DisneyJan2008113.jpg

DisneyJan2008115.jpg

Well, it all tasted the same--icky. The salmon however was nice. The carrots a little too sweet for my taste, and the rice was, well, rice. But the main reason why I wanted to come was:
DisneyJan2008112.jpg

The wide choice of desserts. DBF went with the peanutbutter cheesecake (which tasted basically like regular cheesecake)
DisneyJan2008114.jpg

I went with something called the strawberry napolean:
DisneyJan2008116.jpg

It was yummy. It tasted basically like a good humour strawberry shortcake bar and the swirls were rolled spongecake with jelly (I :lovestruc jelly too), so I ate all the swirls and about 1/2 the strawberry goodness.

I'd go back, definately for the dessert choices, but I'd choose something non-asian.

Food:4/5 (for dessert)
Service: 3.5/5
Atmosphere:3.5/5. It's loud, noisy, but spacious and sunny.

Next was the dive--totally amazing. A nice informative tour, even with a marine biology degree (DBF). Breathing through a regulator is hard, and I almost headbutted an endangered species (turtle) but superfun. Afterward, we felt refreshed but very mellow. What goes good after a nice salty swim?

MARGARITAS!
DisneyJan2008119.jpg

Next time I'd go just strawberry and mango.
DBF, who hates tequila went with the Peach Schnapps Oolong slushie.
DisneyJan2008118.jpg

He said it was weak but amazing. BTW I totally felt and tasted the tequila, but it was good. I was feeling no pain. :hippie:

Dinner was at the highly anticipated Le Cellier. The people in front of us were turned away because of no ADRs. We arrived on time and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. It was no wait at all. We were led to the back and informed of our section and some quick facts about that territory. We had 2 2 seater tables with 2 chairs and the bench against the wall. It could have easily been seperated and the 2 people in front of us could have been seated. This seemed to be a theme with the restaurants; turning people away when there was space. Anyway alcoholic drinks were pushed but we already had our drinks. Those fabulous breadsticks were brought out (I hate sourdough but the multigrain and pretzel were AMAZING!).
I feared there wouldn't be enough veggies with this meal so we shared the beefsteak tomato stack.

DisneyJan2008125.jpg

It was a good seasoned mix of tomatoes and some onion and cucumbers. There were 2 small cheese balls. If you were expecting a lot, you'd be dissapointed but it was very good and tasty. A nice light choice.

On a side note: people were sat down at the table next to us and sat around playing pocket video games. They said some snide comment as I photographed my appetizer and it bothered my bf and I. However, they had the audicity (or stupidity) to ask our common server Steve, if all Canadians say ey.(A)? I'm sorry but that just seemed racist. It would be like asking me if all Jews eat bagels? I mean we do but that's besides the point. It's semi-offensive. :rotfl2: We discussed stupid questions tourists ask with our next server from Norway Line (but that's next review). They just had the ***** to comment rudely on my picturetaking but said somethng offensive like that? Whatever. :sad2:

I couldn't decided between the chicken with corn puddig and the mushroom steak. Our server recommended the steak and I agreed. One word: fabulous. DBF went with the strip, with the cream cheese mash instead.

DisneyJan2008126.jpg

DisneyJan2008127.jpg

Both steaks were amazing and I ate the whole thing. Yum, yum. I was glad some greens were on the plate as well! The meat was tender and cooked and seasoned well.

For dessert we decided to go with fun ones: the mousse and s'mores, although neither are listed on the menu posted outside. A apple-pumpkin crumb thing intrigued me but our server steared me towards the s'mores. And again he didn't lead me wrong.
DisneyJan2008128.jpg

DisneyJan2008129.jpg

The mousse I was told and good and chocolately. The s'mores were difficult to eat but so good! The brownie was rich and fudgy and the graham bottom was good. The fruity decorative sauces were odd combination but nice.

Food: 5/5
Atmosphere: 5/5 (minus rude neighbors) I like the small dark restaurant
Service: 4/5 (No refills :( )

We left, went back to the hotel where my dbf had a sunken treasure.
DisneyJan2008131.jpg

It loves these.

Up next: princess:

Well now you've gone and done it:sad2:
I have this completely anal spreadsheet of our whole trip prepared. In this massive document is a list of ADRs and alternates that i painstakingly compiled for many many evenings.
Despite stellar reviews I never placed Le Cellier high on the prority list. Mostly because we are Canadian and have fabulous restaurants around where we live. So going to "Canada" at Disney didn't seem like a big deal.

That picture of your steaks has changed everything. It all has to be reworked now. I must have one of those steaks.
And secretly I am happy to have a reason to play with the spreadsheet again:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Sorry about your sucky neighbours at Le Cellier. How rude eh?:)

That dessert case is the prettiest picture I have ever set eyes on! Why oh why? :worship: cant I be in disney right at this very moment! Thanks again.... wonderful reviews!!!:thumbsup2

Great reviews & pictures. Love the waiter at 50's Prime Time, how creepy! I'm definitely trying one of those peach tea/alcohol slushies when we go, I don't know how I missed that in October! :)

I'll borrow your flame suit and second your opinion of schoolboy bread.
I was expecting something really yummy and it also tasted stale and just like any old day old doughnut to me!:confused3

Loving your report. You like some of my favorite restaurants, Le Cellier,
Spoodles, 50's Prime Time, and Tangerine Cafe Schwama Platter. Good choices!

Deb

Well, maybe it is less painful to be flamed together. I didn't like the school bread either. I got it after reading all the great reviews, but I just didn't enjoy it. I had the same experience as you did. It seemed stale.

To the OP: I just booked the Aqua Seas Tour today for my DH and DH10. I have heard that it is great. Thanks for the reviews. Sorry you didn't like Kona, it is one of our faves. We do agree about Le Cellier though. HMMM, 5 more months.

Well first, thanks again for all your praises.

Hehe, sorry Pigletto! Planning is so much fun isn't it? I even printed my spreadsheet and laminated it! haha.

mpm, that dessert case was amazing. I wish I could have ordered a cs of all desserts!

travie: I hope you love the Seas Aqua tour. (and thanks with 50 for not making me feel crazy. It just had such a weird texture)

To everyone else (and anyone I forgot), thanks! and both those drinks were delish!

so Day 6

Today we were planning on hitting up DHS for those rides we missed on day 1, then heading to DTD to we'd have some time to shop and get some GOOD CS.

After DHS, we hopped on a bus to Old Key West, and then to DTD. We headed to the marketplace looking for the wolfgang's express, and saw the signs but then realized it was closed. So we walked through the marketplace, then pleasure island and finally made it to the Westside. We were starving. After what seemed like forever (probably only like 15 minutes) we found Wolfgang's Express, and my bf was getting mighty cranky! :headache: He could have eaten anywhere but I insisted on going there. Once we walked in and he saw the food and menu, he could understand why. He really wanted the pot roast but felt it would be too heavy a meal before our dinner at Norway. So instead we both ordered Pizzas!

DisneyJan2008134.jpg

DisneyJan2008135.jpg

He ordered the sausage, meatball, pepperoni heartattack pizza, and I ordered the Spicy chicken.

I had heard wonders about the creme brulee but sadly they were nowhere in sight! It was between a brownie, cookie, carrotcake, or keylime pie.
We bought went with the pie. It was sweet, only slightly tart and refreshing.
DisneyJan2008133.jpg

My dbf said the pizza was delicious. I enjoyed my pizza. It was slightly spicy, but a little too cheesy for my tastes. The crust was WONDERFUL though! The pizza tasted very good but needed something to cut the cheese (:rotfl:), I mean it was just a little too heavy and greasy. I had planned on the chinios salad but when I saw it, I wasn't feeling the chopped salad. I'd make it a point to eat here again.

Food: 4.5/5
Service: 4/5 -- I liked the restaurant feel, and I did tip the "server", was I supposed to?
Atmosphere: 3.5/5--eh, it's not much.

After browsing some stores, we went back to the pop to change, and since we needed to go to a resort anyway...and then we headed to Norway. We arrive about 15 minutes before our ADRs and it was slightly crowded in the "waiting area", i.e. courtyard. We saw who was to be our future server, rubbing her eye and talking to the manager. My dbf thought she was having a contact problem and rummaged through our bag for his solution. However we soon realized she was quite upset over a customer. She was crying and we felt so bad (as many in customer service, we know the pain of a rude customer)
Anyway, it soon started pouring, and we rushed under the doorway to try to avoid the deluge.

DisneyJan2008145.jpg

Ugh, some jerk even came to stand under there while smoking his cigar! Gross! :sad2: Anyway, our name was soon called and we were seating in the back corner. It was nice and quiet, but it seemed that there were tons of open seating areas (again, our recurring theme).

Our wonderful server Line came out. We could still tell she was upset and when we asked how she was she said she was alright, but you could hear it in her voice, she was having a rough day. She explained how the restaurant worked, and we soon went up to the cold bar. It had salad with numerous dressings, potato salad, pasta salad, shrimp salad, seafood salad, peel-n-eat shrimp, fruit, meat, and cheeses, and lox.
DisneyJan2008147.jpg

I really enjoyed the salad with "disney" dressing, whatever that is. And the mickey pasta salad was yummy! I'm not a big of peel shrimp. The fruit was good too.
For dinner, my dbf ordered the stew and I got the salmon. It came with an apple slaw and potato pancakes.
DisneyJan2008148.jpg

DisneyJan2008149.jpg

DBF said the stew was very good and wholesome. I enjoyed the salmon but I'm used to crispier potato pancakes, as opposed to more "pancaky" pancakes. :confused3 Can't quite explain it. The cold apple slaw cooled them down too much as well, but it was wonderfully flavored and seasoned.

For dessert you get the sampler, an expresso cake, rice cream, and a custard/sponge jelly cake.
DisneyJan2008155.jpg

I hate coffee, so I gave DBF the expresso cake, and he was happy. :lovestruc This was his favorite dessert. He loved it! I enjoyed the other 2. The rice cream seemed too bland compared to the others though, but it was nice. I really enjoyed the princess cake though. I love jelly remember! The topping was good, but I preferred the bottom and ate it out from under the top!

Our server was so friendly and nice. We discussed the norway exhibit. And how old the film was after Maelstorm (made in the 80s), and how some people come in asking if they dress like that, or use the old technology. We brough up the Canada eh comment. She told us about this facebook group. We gave her a mighty nice tip, and even asked for her picture, since we took all those princess pictures. (Which btw, they only wanted to pose with my "prince", haha, Snow white did pose with me first, then asked to pose with him--she totally stuck her chest out in my pic, it's weird!) No fun girl poses, only standard girl with guy poses. They were all good (not my fav SW though). We had just the right amount of interaction and I'd definately go there again.

Food: 4/5
Atmosphere: 4/5--it's not overly princessy)
Service: 4.9/5--however she didn't bring out bread, but she was still very good.

Up next: Crystal palace breakfast!

I had promised DBF a character breakfast, and since I had heard such great reviews about Crystal Palace and dbf loves tigger and pooh, I booked it. Little did I remember today was the day of the marathon. So on this day, we got on a bus at 7:30 for our 8:25 Adrs expecting a delay due to the race. The bus took us only to the TTA and we hopped on the express to MK. There were so many runners! It was crazy. Dbf and I kept saying, wow those people could run marathons...I bet we can! So we're planning on training and running in the 2010 race. Anyway, we arrived and the park was mobbed...loving family and friends supporting the runners---so much for a pic of the castle and mainstreet all but deserted. We headed to CP a little before 8, checked in, and waiting outside with the rest of the hungry, lazy folks (I felt so lazy when I saw the runners!) It only took a few minutes for us to be called, and we were probably the 4th family in. Our server came up to use and explain how everything worked, we ordered our drinks and went up to the buffet. Everything looked good and we grabbed a plate. I came to the omelette station and got a mto egg white veggie omelette, no cheese. and it was quickly made. However, when I finally seated, my other food was cold. On a plus, they had sugar free syrup (not diabetic, I just like it)

DisneyJan2008161.jpg

DisneyJan2008162.jpg

I got fruit, potatoes, I couldn't resist a Pooh waffle, and some puffed french toast. I also got some sausage and even soy sausage.

Everything was yummy, but if you're going to get the omelette, get it first, THEn get the rest. The character interaction was good, and sadly we both only eat our 2 plates--very dissapinted in our eating skills.

Food: 4.25/5
Service: 3.75/5-- no refills and took a long time with the check.
Atmosphere:4/5--very lovely building, we sat on the "octagon"

Definately would go there again!

It downpoured a bit this afternoon--it even hailed! We decided on a snack and a later lunch so DBF got the infamous dolewhip float and I got it's lesser known cousin a citrus swirl
DisneyJan2008192.jpg

DisneyJan2008193.jpg

Both good. If you've ever had a Kohrs swirl, that's what the citrus swirl tasted like--expect not as rich.

Later on, we headed to Columbia Harbour House. It was chilly and we both got the soup/sandwich combo. DBF ordered the tuna sandwich and the chowder, I decided on the ham sandwich, no cheese, and the chili.
DisneyJan2008194.jpg

DisneyJan2008195.jpg

Both came with apple blossom, same as Pizzafari's.

NOTE TO SELF: DO NOT ORDER CHILI ANYTIME BEFORE OR AFTER RIDING STITCH. Ugh, I felt so gross all day. It seriously smells exactly like it. It tasted fine, as did the ham sandwich. DBF said his was good--the chowder was very nice but rich. It was a really cute place with lots of small seating areas, but I'd never order the chili again, just for the smell.

Food:3.5/5
Service:3.5/5
Atmosphere:4.5/5

We headed to DTD later that nice and snagged a D'oh bar from cookes of dublin:
DisneyJan2008196.jpg

One word- yummy! Deep-fried snickers bar, :cloud9: Cute place, not a lot of seating but hey, listening to the cranberries, eating deep-fried goodness--:dance3:

We got hungry later on when we got back to Pop. DBF picked up some chicken fingers and fries and I got the greek salad.
DisneyJan2008197.jpg

It was made to order and very very tasty. Lots of toppings and the flat bread that comes with it is a very nice touch. I ordered one again to take one with me on the last day, but sadly it turned to mush over the course of 7 hours. Very nice though, and not too bad for $5.

Next: Boma.

I'll have what she's having!!! :lmao: I cant wait until March, Deep fried snickers....mmmmm! Never had one but can only imagine what I have missed out on for sooo long. Your reviews are fantastic! Keep up the good work:thumbsup2

Once again I am impressed!
I used to be a server in a very very busy tourist city. I have nothing but respect for the Disney servers... I know just how hectic and crazy it can be. I usually did my crying in the kitchen though:rolleyes1
So i am just like you .. I tend to leave a large tip for someone who is having a bad day. People can be so mean:mad:
Food looks great.. and since I will be on my honeymoon fo rour trip I think I will avoid the chest thrusting princesses:lmao:
You are a patient woman:thumbsup2

Great report! Now you have really confused me as to where to make my ADR's!

Great report. I must also agree about the schoolbread. The line was so long for the bakery in France, that I decided to wait until we got to Norway and try the schoolbread. Well, I've tried it now and I don't think I'll be trying it again. Looking forward to the Boma review!
