I am not even going to lie I had all these cassette's in the 80's
Warrant
Firehouse
Guns n Roses
Bon Jovi
Slaughter
Nelson
Tesla
Poison
Motley Crue
Ratt
White Snake
WInger
Skid Row
Cinderella

and every other hair band out there. I just bought the entire Monster Ballads collection and it took me back to a time when life was so simple and fun.

Geez Saffron, were you in a coma for most of 1991? ;)

No, I think I must have turned the radio off in 1982 or something. :p

:teeth:

Spill it, what were you doing young lady? ;)

I had all those too! Last night on VH1 was a show hosted by Dee Snider on the top 40 Hair Bands of all time. Made me want to bust out my Aquanet! I'm still in love with Sebastian Bach and the Nelson boys!

Looks eerily similiar to my collection if you throw out Firehouse and Winger and add Iron Maiden & Judas Priest.

The 1971 list brought back a ton of memories, and the music was OK. The 1981 list was mediocre at best. With the exception of Extreme, the 1991 list was just plain frightening.

No good music in the 80s?

HELLO???

U2?
Police?
Metallica?
Three of the greatest rock groups of ALL TIME!

And I'm definitely on board with Maiden and Priest.

Bwhahahahaha! I can tell you that Bon Jovi sang the song "Living on a Prayer" and that's it. I don't even know the lyrics before or beyond, " ... Whoa O - half way there, Whoa O - living on a prayer, take my hand and we'll make it I swear ..." Bwahahaha! I must have turned my radio off mid 1981. :teeth:
