I rented points through David's and paid for the dining plan. It doesn't show up under my reservation on MDE. Is it supposed to? Feeling a little worried.

If you link existing reservations and put in the DVC reservation number it should show up for you. I know some people report problems with their reservations showing up, but I have never had a problem seeing any of mine including one I have with DVC points and those reservations I have purchased with cash.

Check with David's. They can verify whether it's there or not and tell you how to find it if it's not obvious. As I recall, the dining plan isn't on the first page of info; you have to go to the details page to see it. I just reserved a dining plan for someone renting some of our points, and I was a little worried when it didn't show up on the reservation summary. But then I clicked the details view and it was there.

In general David's will check the reservation after the member completes the dining plan purchase to make sure it's there. If it's really not on the reservation, perhaps the member has canceled the reservation accidentally, in which case David's should get on them to fix things.

Thanks. Yes I clicked on details of the reservation and its not there. The reservation is but doesn't list the dining plan. I'll call David's when they open at 9. I wasn't sure if it showed for dvc or not. Worried sick.

I had to link my BLT reservation but the AKV reservation showed up on its own. I didn't even know the DP should be on there until I saw a post on the DP forum. I checked mine and nope it's not there. I'm a little nervous about renting for the first time as it is.

I sooooo miss my own DVC membership. Had to sell both my contracts at BCV and SSR for financial reasons when I had to take custody of my two dgds. :((
 
Try not to worry. If you rented through David's, you're golden. He'll make it right (if it's truly a problem and not just a Disney IT issue).

You will NOT lose your money. David's business depends on his reputation - and he's not had any bad reviews here on the DIS.

Thanks Carol. I'm trying not to worry. Lol. I'm hoping its just another MDE glitch but ya know I don't have anything in writing or showing online that that DP is in place so it does make me a little nervous. I can picture us checking in at blt and being told I don't have the dining plan. Sorry kids! It's counter service all week! Lol
