With all the threads about Dreams....

Can anyone reccommend a good book? I would love to start learning more about dreams, dream interpetation or anything like that.

There isn't any one book. I would steer clear of the 'dictionary' type books at the beginning until you get a handle on the mechanics of basic symbology and how to 'interpret' multiple signs into something that makes sense. There are plenty of 'dictionarys' online, if I run across symbology I don't have a handle on,I will check 3-4 of these and use the most common 'definition' or provide the person I'm interpreting for all the definitions I find and help them to make sense of them for their own life. Usually there will be one that will stand out to me as being the 'right' one.

As you mentioned in your other posts, it can be very vague. Usually that happens when the dreams are not very detailed. Also, interpretation has a LOT to do with the words the Dreamer uses to describe the dream. Those are the key points in any dream. You can often build an entire interpretation around the key words they use to describe the dream without worrying too much about the symbology. Practice on yourself and your friends. For yourself, write it down! Write down the dream in as much detail as you can remember and then go from there. Writing it down makes it easier to break it down into parts that will make sense when interpreted. I much prefer doing DI via email than I do in person because I can really get a handle on the key words used by the Dreamer.
