With all the beach questions why can't we get a beach sub-forum?

Just curious as I know this has been asked many times in the past on the boards. There's a forum for Las Vegas but not one for Florida beach information!
It would make it a lot easier for dis'ers to find out the info. if we could have a sub-forum for it! I know when I was looking for info. I searched for it, but it would be sooooooooooo nice to have a listing of all the beach threads in one place!

oh, my word, I didn't even know we had a Las Vegas forum! I don't normally think Las Vegas when I think Disney so I never would have thought of that. I see it's "under" the Disneyland forum. I guess.

I think it would be a good idea to have a beach forum off of this one. Heaven knows it gets asked a lot on here. And I've been one of the ones doing some of the asking!

Never knew there was a LV forum either. But it also took me a long time to find the W.I.S.H forum...just don't make it past the first 10 too often.

I don't know how many times I have come on here to try and find out some info about close beaches and nothing

I agree. We are Canadian and would love to find out more about Florida's beaches. We come down for several weeks and have a fair bit of time on our hands.

I think it would be so helpful for those of us who want to take a day trip or even spend a night or two at a beach. I've checked her many times to see if someone has some beach info and usually there isn't much.

Absolutely! We like to take a "beach break" every trip now. For us land-locked mid-westerners it's super helpful to get information from trusted DISers about the beaches - driving directions, safety, sand, crowds, parking, things to do and see, places to eat & stay... Sure this information is scattered throughout the boards, but try searching for it when you start planning & need it! Please, please, & pretty please - give beach info a home of it's own on the DISboards!

I agree with the Beach Forum. We always spend a couple of days at the beach combined with our Disney vacation. I would like to find information about restaurants, shopping etc. outside of Orlando. This time we are headed to St. Pete's for a couple of days prior to coming to Orlando. Any information would be great.

So happy to see that there are others who love going to the beach during their Disney vacation! We try and get to the beach at least once when we are in Florida!
Florida beaches are so much nicer than the ones up north!
