Wispering Canyon Q and... Is This a Crazy Plan?

Right now, I have us at MK on Monday during our Thanksgiving week trip. Then, we head via boat to Wilderness Lodge for dinner at Wispering Canyon (5:45 PM). My husband wanted to stay at VWL, but they were booked up. He also liked the looks of the menu, so this is sort-of for him. Anyway, after dinner we head back to MK via boat for the electrical parade and fireworks (if we can stay awake). Questions...

1.) Is this a crazy plan? What about timing? Did I even allow enough to eat and get back?

2.) What are the "fun" things they do an Wispering Canyon? I have been trying to find out, but the only thing I read thus far is about a ketchup game?

So, is this a good idea, a bad one, or one that just needs tweaking Your help is much appreciated.

I think it sounds like a good plan. I have been to Whispering Canyon for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast there was hardly anyone there and it was so quiet. But dinner was very loud and rowdy. Which is part of the fun and charm. The servers really make it. They will rib you and be sassy. All in good fun mind you. Food was really good. They also do a fun thing with kids where they ride those stick horses. So cute to watch! You will have a great time. And the boat ride to MK is to me a lot of fun.

Definitely ask for catchup, more water, and drop a utensil.

We are there that week as well and staying at WL but we are not eating at WCC this trip.

When you go I would ask at the desk for a playful waiter/waitress. Ours was a dud ( we had to yell for our own ketchup, nothing else funny-and she seemed put out when telling us to yell). The food was good, but we expected a fun night and it was pretty boring. Other waitstaff had much more outgoing personalities and they seemed more into making the evening fun for the guests.
