Wish's Trip Report - Day 4 - June 23rd - MK & MGM

[Wish Upon A Star]

Had b-fast at GF Cafe - Pancakes for everyone . . .Decided to go to MK in the morning because we were planning on spending later in the day and night at MGM.

MK was very very very busy!! People coming in from all directions. We rode COP, Buzz, Astro Orbiter, Space Mountain, TTA, Dumbo, Teacups and Snow White. Lines were HUGE except for COP and TTA of course . . .

After fighting our way back through the crowds we headed back to WL to regain our composure and chill out before MGM.

MGM was crowded, but not MK crowded . . .except for Fantasmic. We did Star Tours, Sounds Dangerous, Great Movie Ride, Muppets, Backlot Tour and had dinner at Backlot (fast food) then we walked over to Fantasmic. We arrived at 7:30 and it was getting filled up quickly . . .we had a real good spot, middle row, down in the front . . .we didn't move at all . . .the crowds were coming in by the hundreds . . .I kept thinking if we ever had to leave, how would we all get out? But, Fantasmic was awesome and we all loved it. Getting out of there was another story . . .It took a very, very long time . . .I felt like mooing . . .we all waddled out . . .

But, I do have one question... about Fantasmic. I have a 3 1/2 yr old .... she is usually afraid of major fireworks. Should I assume she will be afraid of the show too?

Well, she might be afraid . . .especially when the dragon breathes fire and lights the water on fire . . .I don't know . . .I would try it but sit far enough back in the stadium and if she does get upset you can leave . . .

I hate feeling herded like that...it's really bad after Fantasmic at DL cause you are herded out thru Adventureland, which has extremely narrow pathways. There could be some serious injuries if anyone ever started a stampede! But, it sounds like you got a lot accomplished for being in crowded parks!
