We had breakfast at Kona Cafe . . .DH had the Big Kahuna (which was kind of small this trip for some reason) DD and I had eggs and DS the Mickey Cake. Kona has got to have the best coffee IMHO . . .I could drink a whole pot myself!

After b-fast we headed over to Epcot. Aaahhhh Epcot, a quiet reprieve from the massive MK crowds. We walked right on Living Seas, Imagination, Honey I Shrunk The Audience and Cranium Command . . .then the rain came . . .this time we were prepared with our $2.88 ponchos from Wal-mart . . .they really came in handy. We decided not to do World Showcase in the rain so we went to Innovations and played around in there and then headed to Mousegears and purchased some souveniers.

After spending a couple hours we headed back to WL to check out the arcade and decide where we wanted to go for dinner and what park. We all chose MK of course!

We rode the WDW Train over to Adventure Land and went to Tom Sawyer's Island . . .ummmm we walked on the floating bridge and went through some caves . . .but there was this one cave that I had to turn around in . . .It was way too dark, hot, and I was feeling a little bit claustrophobic . . .it's like that feeling you get where you can hear your own heart . . .it was way too scary for me.

After checking out the lines for BTMRR, which were way too long, we ate at Pinnochio's Village Haus . . .we really like their burgers and it never seems too busy for some reason . . .We tried to go to Cosmic Rays but it was massive crowds inside and no tables available.

After dinner we rode POC, HM, Peter Pan and Small World. Then did some shopping at POC and Emporium . . .then we got out of MK before the crowds did and had no problem with the ferry.

Thanks for sharing - Wonderful reviews!!!

Glad there were no ferry problems today! Don't you love the POC shop? I found so many things there that I liked- fun toys for the kids, fun boxer shorts for the guys- a well themed shop with different stuff than you find everywhere else.

To be honest, ( and we are probably in the minority) but when my family stayed at Wilderness Lodge last year, we really grew to hate the transportation(ferry) to and from MK-I'll take a bus any day!

Great report. One question.....how did you like Tom Sawyers Island? (other than the cave that you didn't like). I have never done this attraction and I can't wait to do it in December.

Chip126 -

We never did/saw this attraction either . . .actually it was a nice break from the hustle and bustle.

It was interesting to do once . . .I wouldn't do it again. There is a spot where you can get some good pics of BTMRR and there were two bridges to walk over and the two caves. Then there was this small play area for young kids . . .

It was fun to go exploring a bit . . .
