Princess Aurora Day - PS in Norway for 8:40

DD awakens to find a Sleeping Beauty Crown on her bed, but still is slow to wake, and dress.. as is dh, he is so trying to dry out his computer... Please, please, MOVE IT PEOPLE> *heavy sigh...

we make the monorail and hit Epcot at 8:30AM... we were late getting there, but we had our seat, and a few other drifters were coming in. The table next to ours had one very whiney 2yr old, screamed until he got what he wanted, and a couple of times we were ready to give him what he wanted also!! The other table had 2 girls, one maybe 6 one maybe 4. The 4 year old kept taking things, and then I discover there was only one autograph book for the 2 girls. It was quite a morning. These parents kept sending there kids to the Princessess, and CM's kept bringing them back to the table - I keep telling dd the whole idea is to wait your turn, she even ate some food - dh and I were stuffed! I love scrambled eggs, these were so fluffy, so creamy, so fine!!

Snow White comes first, my she has the hand gesture and the voice "buhBye, Bye" down I got teary eyed!! Mulan, Jasmine came, (dh apologized for his gender after the gentleman the table over googled and asked for his picture!) Belle came, and talked to dd, we cant wait to see her show at MGM!! Finally Princess Aurora - what a delight for DD!! I was disappointed, no Mary Poppins, maybe next time!!

We go thru the front half of the Park, dd wasnt too sure of the 3D movies, or the rides, but she braved it out. DH is hard of hearing, and I knew about Reflective Captioning. It embarrassed him that I asked for this, but after the show, he was so thankful at all my preparations!! Now I will say that this show time was the only one that the CM's knew to save us the 3 seats to get the reflective captioning... when we returned on a Wed to see the show again, I asked the same way, but unfortunately know CM to reserve the 3 seats (mind you they are end seats up high, not front row or middle or anything - but I saw the need and ran to grab the 3 seats and the one lady had a cow yelling it was the 3rd time someone stole in line - I said Ma'am I"m sorry but we need the captioning, she wouldnt be pacified, when dh came down with the screen and set it up, I told him not to bother her thqat lady was really angry, and of course she then "got it" and was apologetic - did I mention how HOT and CROWDED it was this entire week - it does seem to shorten tempers!)Tip #4 concerning Reflective Captioning - You may know more than the CM's

Le Cellier in Canada we have PS for 2pm, I sure hope we have enough room!! We were to use the VKL vouchers. DH is not so sure... I advise the server of our "wish" and we would be ordering additional items from the menu.. ie dh wants a Moosehead beer, dd wants french fries. we got the 10oz steak, and an extra plate... that was the tenderest steak - I felt it was as tender as a filet - wonderful!! The airconditioned room, was heaven. Barry was our server and we connected on a hockey level - he found out we were celebrating our anniversary and brought out a wonderful moose inspired chocolate mousse dessert -dd loved it... dh and I were surprised, but were looking forward to the creme brulet - we kept our mouths closed, and enjoyed we had no room for any food anyway!!

On to Great Britian, it was time for the British Invasion, I buy a 1/2 yard of ale, and we laugh and dance, and embarrass dd - so I take her in to get her passport signed, and almost ran right into Mary Poppins!! She is so beautiful. DD gets her autograph (no line here btw!!) and I start to tear up, the CM was talking to me, and said, I must have a picture with just the 2 of us - how sweet (MP was my first movie, my grandma took me too, and she had just passed away...) DH was outside listening to the music oblevious to my Disney moment. We make our way around, at France I get a box of creme brullet to go, and at Germany, another beer... finally back to Norway, what? FP here? *duh, luckily not much of a stand by line, we wait... and eat the caremel souffle in line, the people around us were drooling... dd was whining, she did not want to ride.... etc.... We force her on the boat (bad parenting I know) she loved the ride.... I wasnt thrilled with the wait after the boat ride to see the very informative movie, I felt trapped in that waiting area, we were the first boat, and we had to wait for the movie to get over - what 10 minutes maybe, but the waiting for the other boats to fill the theatre, and yes some people left, but I knew it was a good movie, and important to educate dd that people are people everywhere... I still felt trapped!! :)

We were, tired, hot, and ready to head home - and there is the Spaceship Earth, we have to ride - and no line, walk on.. again, we force dd on this ride, we really were worried that we were going to get the bad parent award here... when she got off she declared it her favorite, and wanted to do it again!!

We get back to the Poly and in our suits, dh went to check on his laptop, we'll meet him. I find the pool bar and get a frozend strawberry yummm... and talk about dh's laptop. Here 2 patrons assure me that the same thing happened to them, and with the humidity here, even with the a/c we need to give it 3 days... yea right, well if there is pixie dust, I need it now!!

I kinda turned my ankle, it was swelling, dh came to the pool to take over,(still no luck with the computer) so I could elevate and ice my foot...

I also realize I cannot sleep on those pillows, they are huge, and soft, and hard at the same time. I go to the front desk, are there any feather pillows?

Tip 5 - ask for feather pillows OH yeah, a wonderful sleep for sure!!

Sounds like another great day, except for turning your ankle. Hope it didn't keep you down for long. Looking forward to day three. :)

Great report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Sounds great so far. Glad to hear you can request feather pillows. Wow, WDW is awesome, isn't it? Looking forward to the next report:D
