That is great! Knowing his family likes you helps. Especially his daughter a big family 2015 sounds great!! We just got back from a group of 8 in December. While we didn't completely finance it we paid for a lot. Planning way in advance helped though.

It was definitely crazybusylong...but oh so fun. We are planning to go back and spend a few more days hopefully...just not sure exactly when we can swing it.

So...I have spent hours balancing the park hours, touring plans recommended days, and squeezing in the ADR's and all the extras we want to do. Our park days aren't completely set in stone and we are trying to keep some thigs "loose" and "spontaneous"! Yeah...we'll see how that goes...I'm a crazy, OCD, commando planner/tourer. This is going to be tough for me!

Without further adieu...general park plans:

Flight lands at 12:30pm
Arrive BLT approx. 2:30ish
Head to park (MK or EP) for couple hours.

TS dinner (probably in a resort...not a park)

I would love your input on the rough plans. Does it look "too" structured? I'm trying REALLY hard to let us make some decisions on the fly, but I'm realistic enough that I have to have some rough plans or we (read....ME) will go crazy!

I wondered who would catch the Keys to the Kingdom tour. You win the prize! I shall name you "Eagle Eye Mo"! We had discussed doing the KTTK or the EPCOT Segway tour. Ultimately we decided on KTTK, but then I read something about the Segway tour being cancelled indefinitely. I am SUPER excited about this tour and think it will be a cool way to see MK! I will be sure to give a full report!

My ADR date is quickly approaching (next Tuesday, April 9). We are only planning on 3 TS meals this trip, but there will of course be many QS meals. Here's the general breakdown for our meals.

Sun. Oct. 6 - Arrival Day
B - at home
L - QS (airport, hotel or park)
D - TS

Arrival night is our first TS meal of the trip. What better way to immerse in the Disney experience than with food, right? We decided that we would try somewhere new. We want something easily accessible to BLT, so we decided on Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge. A good friend ate there back in Dec. and highly recommended it.

Mon. Oct. 7
B - in the room
L - Food & Wine Festival Kiosks @ EPCOT
D - QS (either Contempo Cafe @ CR or something in a park)

We did F&WF on our last trip (I will share more pics of that later) and I can't wait to do it again. YUMMY food!

Tues. Oct. 8
B - QS @ Contempo Cafe
L - QS in HS. (Studio Catering Co.? Recommendations welcome)
D - TS in EP

For our 2nd TS meal we will again be trying a new restaurant. We considered several restaurants at EPCOT for this evening's meal. Considerations were Teppan Edo, Rose & Crown, Via Napoli, Coral Reef and Biergarten. We decided to give Via Napoli a try. We both LOVE Italian food and I have read many wonderful reviews.

Wed. Oct. 9
B - in the room
L - QS in MK: Columbia Harbour House included on KTTK tour
D - QS @ DTD (likely Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express)

Thurs. Oct. 10
B - Main Street Bakery in MK
L - QS - Be Our Guest (hopefully without a super long wait)
D - TS

This will be our last TS meal of the trip, but it will also be a repeat from our last trip. We LOVED Ohana at the Polynesian so much that we just couldn't bring ourselves to skip it this time around.

Fri. Oct. 11 - Departure Day
B - QS @ Contempo Cafe
L - QS in park
D - airport

So...what do you think? Do you have any recommendations for our QS meals? Part of me wishes that we were doing more TS meals, but I know I will enjoy having more time to do "STUFF" instead of spending all our time eating. Although... I do LOVE to eat!

Well, since you are on the monorail....how about hopping over to the Poly a couple times. Captain Cooks has Tonga Toast (I don't like it, but lots of people do) for breakfast. And their Aloha Pork sandwich and Polynesian Nachos are to die for!
