I WAS READING ABOUT WISHES AND WAS WONDERING HOW EVERYONE LIKED IT. I HAVE NEVER BEEN AND WAS THINKING ABOUT IT.

DW and I saw Wishes for the first time just last month, and we thought it was quite impressive, but our favorite fireworks show on WDW property was IllumiNations at EPCOT. That was absolutely stunning! However, while we saw IllumiNations in EPCOT, we only saw Wishes from outside the park, on a pontoon boat, as we had booked a Wishes cruise. And, while that was quite awesome in its own way (I mean, what's not to like?), I think that Wishes would be that much more impressive and awe-inspiring inside the Magic Kingdom right by the castle.

Oh, well... next time.

I had only heard about wishes from people on this site before. The first time we saw it in 04 it is like no other. The music and the fireworks just go hand in hand. This past Feb. 05 we went again and I bought the wishes C/D in mickey's toontown store and listen to it everytime I wish I was there. It brings back memories everytime I hear it. You won't be disappointed.

Can you watch Wishes anywhere from the CR if you are not staying there? Can you just go up to the roof or somewhere?

I remember when I first heard about Wishes I was thinking how could fireworks be that great? But they really are as great as everyone says! I finally saw Wishes for the first time last month and it was amazing! I loved how they did the whole fireworks show, and I absolutely loved the music...it went along perfectly with the fireworks. It's really something you have to see, especially on Main Street where you can see them right by the castle.

i was like the above thinking "they are fireworks, nice but..." till i saw it..it was one of those wow!!! moments for hubby and i ( specto was another) not sure what it is exactly so maybe it's the combination of everything tha makes it so great..

we love illuminations also...it never gets" old" to us

Going into it, I didn't exactly have high expectations, I figured "just another firework show". But the experience left me in joyful tears, it just blew me away. It's like I saw fireworks in a whole new way. Wishes gave fireworks a whole new meaning. The song that goes with the show is beautiful! I cant ever imagine missing it now!

Wishes is spectacular! I was with my parents the last time I saw it ... we had such a great time and it has created one of the most awesome memories for me. I love the music too ... this time when we go I am going to see it twice I hope you enjoy it too.

Me too, even bought the soundtrack on our last trip and it's the favorite CD in the car with the kids too. I remember the first time I saw it, I bounced up and down on the balls of my feet and clapped my hands like a little girl while getting all misty eyed (yeah it IS as dorky as it sounds.)

I can't wait to see it again. My DS 14 leaned over to me last December and said, "Mom, I'm getting the warm fuzzies in my tummy. You have done this to me." I said, "No, that's Disney magic dear!!"

Oh that is fine Nank, that is what this info board is all about........I know you are as excited as my family. Thanks everyone for sharing. wishes is on y must absolutely do list. I cry easy so, i will definitely bring the tissues. It made me teary eyed reading how everyone loves it.
