Wishes

I see that Wishes was added to the events on the calendar at disneyworld.com starting with October 9th. We leave WDW on October 7th. Is there some possible way they will have a 'trial run' of Wishes before its big debut on the 9th??? I know new rides and attractions have soft openings. Is there any thing similar for fireworks?? Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing! We are leaving on the 6th, and I will be an uncontrollable tear factory if I dont get to see wishes!! Does anyone know if they will do any nights before hand...I would think they have to!! Thats my WISH!

Don't count on it, but I saw a cm post somewhere that there might be "previews" in late September/early October. I'm hoping they may have it on 10/4 or during MNSSHP on 10/5, we'll be there both nights.

.... OOOHhhhhh... Im keeping my fingers crossed for a preview!! I just figured that they have to try it out SOMEtime.. right?? right?? hehehehe. If I have to park hop every night back to the magic kingdom to check for a preview, I will!! I will also be at the MNSSHP on the 5th.

The one CM post I saw mentioned that they normally do firework tests after the park closes, like at 12:00 or 1:00 AM.

I think I read somewhere too that there were going to be previews, hopefully you'll get to view one!

Rumor sites like Screamscape report that previews will start the last week of September.
