Wishes & Water Pageant from Contemporary Resort

We have an ADR at the Contemporary on the night of our check-in (staying at CBR). it will be a non-park day. One of our goals is to watch the Water Pageant, which we've never seen before. Also, while we're hanging out for the Pageant, we plan on going ahead and trying to catch Wishes as well.

My questions are:
- Is there a good place at the Contemporary to catch BOTH shows? The show schedule the night we're there has them literally back to back from a timing standpoint.

- Would trying to catch both at the Poly be better, if time permits? We could possibly have enough time to catch the resort monorail, but won't push it. Would we even be allowed on the Poly Beach at that time if we have no other purpose to be there?

There's a great balcony on the fourth floor to see Wishes. I can't speak for the water pageant but recommend getting to the balcony early to secure a good spot.

I believe you would need to walk down to the boat dock to see the Water Pageant.

We had dinner at CG last month. We were able to see the pageant floats, but I don't think you would be able to hear the music from the balcony.

We have also done the pageant/Wishes from the Poly beach. It was great, but I don't know how that stands now.
