Wishes vs Illuminations Cruise

We have done an Illumination Cruise twice and had a great time both times. We're going to Orlando in March and do not plan to go to the parks. I'm considering booking a cruise since some friends will also be there at the same time. How does the Wishes Cruise compare to the Illuminations Cruise? We've never done the Wishes cruise. Thanks to all in advance!!!

I also asked this question and ended up going on both due to a free cruise from a snafu last year. We went in Oct. and all I can say is Wishes is gorgeous from the water but you cannot hear much. That stinks. We could hear bits and pieces but the kids would talk and then we would not be able to hear again. A word of caution, we were supposed to leave from CR and they never showed up due to a snafu. We ended up not paying for this cruise either because they took us out, we got to the fireworks position just as they began and then they brought us right back in. I, of course felt guilty, and ended up tipping way too much for their mistake. Hope this helps some.
