Wanted to say goodbye to wishes. Just received reports that is a complete mad house at MK! I warned them.My parents are there now and had had their spot by the plaza for two hours and now they said when it started it was elbow to elbow and the crowds keep coming!

"I've been here 3 hrs, you can't just stand in front of us!!!! I'm going to get a CM!"

"Go ahead, he told me to stand here."

CM: "I'm sorry ma'am, but it's going to get much more crowded, we're directing the crowd this way. Tonight's just going to be too crowded to claim a spot."

End of an era...

I saw it two weeks ago - wouldn't think of seeing it on the last day with the crowds

Ditto.

Went a few weeks ago with a group, we got there early, got a good spot and said our farewells.

We went Monday and got a great spot in the garden in front of Casey's. Really glad we got to see it before it went away. It was a long late night for the kids (3 & 5) but worth it.

Wouldn't be there now for 'nothing'!!! :crazy2:
We were there a week ago and the crowds weren't bad at all - said our Good Byes to Wishes then - was a gorgeous
night, perfect weather, cool.

Just got back home from MK,went in around 3-4pm and told myself,"these crowds aren't bad at all for the final day of Wishes".Unfortunately people came specifically for Wishes and they came after 5-6pm,by the time I plopped myself in front of the castle around 7:45 the place was jam packed.Getting out was insane,I went around and exited by the Main Street backstage area which was bad but way better than anyone trying to just head out straight on Main Street USA,that looked simply out of control, like maybe 30-45 minutes just to get to the front of the park.I had my plans set to get out of work tomorrow and go see Happily Ever after, but right now I'm leaning to at least skip opening night as I don't feel like dealing with crazy crowds again.

Everyone waving their phone/Flashlight around just before it started.

The ending I think caught everyone off guard.. Wishes ended as normal, then went into the mellow end of night wishes music.. Well that loop went once so it lasted about 10 minutes and everyone that wasn't staying for the projection show packed up. Then the castle suddenly went into the final blue with white stars logo and as the music endd, the stars "fell down" from the castle. It was rather sad and depressing way to end it.. Then the erie no background music around most of MK happened until the projection show ran (so about 25-30 minutes of silence where wishes would normally play. Some areas had their normal background music.

There was also a marriage proposal right by me after it finished, she apparently said yes.

Two words-DESSERT PARTY!lol:)

Many were saying the crowd was similar to NYE.

I was there. I watched from the top of the train station. I got there at 6 pm and was so glad not to be in the mess on Main St. It was so awesome to be there for the last show. I was back at the Wilderness Lodge at 9:31!! I'd post photos but I've been struggling with how to do that from my phone.

I saw about 8 of them near the walt statue.

width can't be more than 1024 so first you have to get them resized/cropped. I also find it a pain from the phone.

It was closer to a July 3rd crowd however at 5 it was still reasonable and easy to walk around and you could get some rides in. that doens't happen july 4th. ride lines were starting to pick up though but not the hour wait fastpass that you see july 4th(exaggerated).. It was right about 6:30ish when the hub started to resemble "crowds" but then at 7 the last move it shake it dance party came through and many cleared out. I think the sudden jump of 15 degrees from normal had many locals wait until the last moment to come out. It was really nice when the clouds rolls in and the wind got chilly. I was starting to regret not bringing an umbrella for the sun when suddenly I no longer needed it.

My spot was roped off, I think a CM screwed up and roped off areas for the blog cameras that weren't coming out so I had to regroup. I Ended up hanging out with about 100 cast members who were very good at spreading out so nobody wanted to try to push their way in. Lots of different vloggers around the area as well. I was rather surprised to see how many do this with just their phones with a whole tripod setup.

tomorrow is going to be interesting, I think many realized they came too late and I'm not sure what to expect for when I need to stake my spot. Also going back to the getting ready video disney put out, the towers they added to the hub have projections so I'm not sure there is a good spot to get all the projections and the fireworks There's just too many shrubs, hanging plants and poles around the front. Wish me luck, i'll probably stream tomorrow.
