Wishes...Should I share? :)

I just scored big points with my lovely wife and got a Wishes cruise for 9/18/04.

There are only 4 of us, so we have 8 open seats.

Can anyone tell me if it's better to have fewer on the boat (pontoon) or if 12 is not too many?

I haven't done this yet, but we have an Illuminations Cruise booked for September. When I initially made it I was told 12, but when I called back I got another CM who said that 10 adults was comfortable, more than that was really too many. Later another CM agreed with that too.

12 is alot but can be done...although maybe there is a limit of, say 10 adults and 2 kids? Not sure, check with a CM. I say SHARE your cruise. The pontoon boats for the Illuminations Cruises have 2 seating areas: there are benches along the sides leading from mid-ship to the bow, where six adults can sit comfortably. Then there is a seat in the stern, behind the driver, where several more can also sit comfortably- maybe 3 or 4 adults. On our most recent cruise, there were 8 adults, a 16yo, 12yo, 10yo and 5yo, and we fit just fine. It always so much more fun to "meet" Dis friends thru the boards and pm's pre-cruise, then to meet up in person and share the magic!

the boats are realatively large. You could easily add 4 more and not even know they're there. 12 can fit confortably and wouldn't be bad. Note, there are several seating areas - plenty of room. But I think most people would prefer the "priime" seating in the front of the boat. You can still confortable sit 4 people on each side in the front.
