We saw Wishes Wednesday night. The show is better than FITS. But it still doesn't compare to Believe at DL (and the holiday version of Believe is the best show I've ever seen).

Regarding viewing, I would not recommend Main Street towards the xmas tree/train station - at least during the holidays. The wreaths strung across Main Street obstruct the view. Also, I think the Main Street buildings can kind of squeeze the available viewing of the show. So further up Main Street towards the castle would be a better viewing position, IMO.

I saw it 3 times last week! Once on Main Street between Casey's and the hub (Saturday), once at the railing between Main Street and Crystal Palace (Monday) and once on the Tomorrowland Bridge (MVMCP Tuesday). The best spot of the 3 was the railing between Main Street & Crystal Palace, no one could stand in front of us and block the view. The Tomorrowland Bridge wasn't very good since the effects are centered on the castle. I loved this show so much (could you tell?;) ). I wish they would bring the music out on a CD.

We loved it and watched it twice - on the 4th and on the 8th. On the 4th at the end they shot up fireworks all around the perimeter of the park (like from the tops of the buildings in all the lands or so it looked). On the 8th they didn't do those final fireworks around the perimeter. It was pretty windy on that night, so maybe that's why.

Wishes is much more spectacular that FITS, but I do really like the music of FITS. I'm glad I have it on cd. The Wishes soundtrack wasn't on any of the cds yet.

We saw Wishes 3 times last week. We watched from Main Street one night. We went to MVMCP on the 9th and watched from a small area close to the Plaza Pavillion. Those fireworks were awesome. They added fireworks for the party and you had to do a complete 360 to see all of the fireworks. The last time we saw them was at Ohana at the Polynesian. We had a perfect view of the castle. They piped in the music and dimmed the lights. That is definitely my favorite Fireworks show. I can't wait for the soundtrack to come out. I went around all week singing "All your Wishes will come true!!" I searched all week for the soundtrack and a very nice lady at the World of Disney Information booth said it will be a couple of months before it is out!!!:)

I also saw them on the 8th. There's a path/bridge between the hub and the Enchanted Grove in Fantasyland. Not a good spot, I found out the hard way. Dan Murphy was there and suggested the rose garden-I looked over and that did appear as if it would be a good spot. Next time!

We watched from the rose garden area both times. It was a great area to watch from. We were on the pathway kind of in the middle - the one just on the other side of the water from the Plaza Restaurant that also curves around to intersect with the main Tomorrowland walkway.

Too bad that the fireworks around the perimeter were just for MVMCP. It made for a fantastic finale ::yes::

Did everyone notice that they removed all the big trees out in front of the castle that were around the Walt and Mickey statue? The castle looks kind of bare in the daytime but it looks great during Wishes.

Simba's mom - we were there with Towncrier and Ray Sharpton on the 8th. Wish we would have found you! Maybe I met you earlier in the week - I had a hard time keeping everyone's real names and DIS names straight.

We watched WISHES from the railing between Casey's and Crystal Palace, and I think it was a very good view! I absolutely loved WISHES, and have played our video of it back twice since we returned (Sunday). I'm glad to hear the soundtrack will be coming out for purchase! The perimeter fireworks were awesome!

The hub does look strange now without the trees. When I got to the Magic Kingdom and was walking down Main Street, I was thinking to myself there is something missing here. Since this was my first time to go during the Holiday season, I was wondering if this was something they did during this time of year. Now that I know they will be replaced with Magnolias, maybe the hub won't look so bare. :)
