Am I reading this wrong? According to this, on the dibb site http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=835236 Wishes is yellow for the week before Christmas which means it's closed?

I'm pretty sure they do Holiday Wishes during that time and not the regular Wishes.

While that's true, that's not really the issue.

Regardless of which version of Wishes is running,
if it is not a MVMCP or MNSSHP night,
the Wishes FP+ areas should be available.

It's possible, of course, that Disney will not offer FP+ during that week.
But, I don't know why that would be the case.

MVMCP ends Dec. 18. I'm looking at the week of Dec. 20-26, which is yellow-so no party to interfere with those dates. I sure hope it's not that they won't be offering FP+. My FP+ booking window opens next week and I arranged all my days around trying to get a FP+ for wishes, one of my son's few requests. I know there's debate on whether it's worth the use of a FP+ but it's one thing I wanted to guarantee him.

I selected my fastpasses for week of Dec 15-dec 21 and the choice was Holiday Wishes. The fast pass option is there.

Edit: of course this was once the party dates were passed. I selected Holiday wishes for Dec 20th

If this is the case, it would indicate that the Dibb site software does not have a listing for "Holiday Wishes"
and since "Wishes" is not running, the event listing comes up as "closed."

That's something that the site designers need to address to avoid much guest confusion.

Thanks so much. I feel much better. Dibb site is showing the 20th as yellow but since you booked for the 20th I am feeling great now!

I knew the party wasn't running I was just thinking that since it isn't called Wishes during that time of the year perhaps the coding on the website didn't support the seasonal name and thus showed Wishes as closed. Looks like that is the case based on a previous poster.
